Nexstar Media Group - Holding Fox Tv station hostage

I live in VA with no over the air signal for the local Fox WFXR in Roanoke due to mountains blocking the signal. I have Dish network and Nexstar owns WFXR and took it off because it wants Dish to pay a BILLION dollars to put it back on. I can't see any NFL games on Fox now. The greed is disgusting. I see another post on here where they did the same thing with ABC right for months!

User's recommendation: Ask your TV provider if Nexstar is holding any stations hostage!

Blue Cross And Blue Shield Of Texas - I pay to get screwed!

It happened again. I pay for BCBS to screw us on prescriptions. Got a generic antibiotic today for $34.62 through the FREE GoodRx app that BCBS wanted $119.00! Less than a third! I also get a generic Crohn's Disease drug for $90 GoodRx and over $300 through BCBS! Again less than a third! I hear a lot of politicians talk about drug prices but no action. Does anyone have a good explanation?

User's recommendation: use FREE GoodRx.

Dremel - It's a toy! Broke for the second time after using a couple of hours.
Update by user Aug 04, 2020

Dremel emailed me and said I need to send it back and insure it. Why would I pay shipping AGAIN to fix this toy?

The brush holder should have a brass sleeve to keep the brushes from melting to the plastic which is what happened this time.

I tried to put it back together but the mini fingers on one side of the sliding switch snapped off. Dremel should be ashamed to put their name on this!

Model 3000. I hardly used this the first time when the switch broke and since only used for an hour or two. It was repaired 3/28/2018 and I had to pay shipping. I took it apart this time and was shocked at the tiny plastic parts that look like a toy. This time the brushes got stuck in their slots so it quit running. I keep thinking of Woody in Toy Story saying "You are a toy" to Buzz Lightyear. I have a $10 Harbor Freight grinder that I use for hours on end and over hundreds of hours total and only replaced the power cord due to usage. I will never buy Dremel brand again!

User's recommendation: Don't buy Dremel!

Replacement fuel line for 2 cycle engine: The blue supposed 1/8" O.D. line is ~ .020" smaller than the old one. It leaks because it can't seal the hole in the gas tank. The ~3/16" O.D. line is too big and made like a gummy worm. It took an hour to get through it's hole.

at that station so it is not that I didn't spend $100. This time I tried...

Kroger - Fuel points warning!!!

I had 760 November points and 1010 December points available when I got gas on 12/20/18. There are 3 options at the pump. 1- use all points up to 1000 ($1.00/gal.), 2- use another amount you choose with 100 point intervals, 3- use only 100 points. I did not want to use many December points, so I chose 800 or $0.80 / gal. When I read a receipt from 12/31/18 it said I still had the 760 November points (which would expire on 12/31/18) and only 210 points left for December! I called Kroger Customer Service and they said since I chose more points than November's it took all of it from December! I said that was wrong and they credited my expired points back, but I don't think this policy is right. There is no option at the pump for which month's points you want to use. I copied their policy: "At Kroger Fuel Centers , to use point amounts greater than 100 from prior month's fuel total, simply select option 2 (CHANGE AMT) when prompted. Enter in an amount equal to or lower than your prior month's total (savings amount displayed will be greatest amount you can save when filling up). For example, if you have 200 unredeemed fuel points from January and 300 fuel points in February, the display will show that you can save 30¢ per gallon. However, if you change the amount to 20¢, these will come from your January total, leaving you 300 points from your February total. Amounts will come from prior month's total first if available. Amounts entered greater than what is available will round down, taking the highest amount." It says "Amounts will come from prior month's total first if available." That is not true since if you ask for more than the prior month's points and have more in the current month it will take all of the points from the current month and if you don't use the prior month's points they will expire.

I got a new Kroger credit card and the offer said if you use 100 fuel points ($0.10/ gal. discount) you will get an additional $0.25 / gal. discount for the first year when you scan, redeem at least 100 fuel points, and use your Kroger credit card. When it says scan it...

WalMart - K & N oil filter failure
I was shocked when I went to change the oil and filter again on a 2004 BMW X3 2.5i and saw that the PS-7007 filter had cracked in half. I had bought it from Wal-Mart and had got a new one but returned it after seeing this epic failure. I don't know what damage may have...

You need to be talking to K&N not Walmart. Walmart does not manufacture filters. They are just resellers.

Anonymous is correct. Walmart.com and Walmart are different.

Walmart stores can now only honor the price if the address that is set is within a 50 radius of that particular store. Walmart is not in competition with itself. Also, some products look the same but sometimes there's a difference in the product. What you are talking are not mark ups, they are mark downs.

Mark ups happen when the price has changed to a higher price.

Again, the website has no overhead! That's different...
