Richards Carlberg - Richards/Carberg in Houston does not respect their customers.

I called Richards/Carlberg Marketing firm on March 22nd 2011 to create a marketing plan for a new product we wanted to bring to the market. The person helping me was a woman by the name of: Lynda Boydstun-Nielsen (Brand Manager). She listened to me for about 20 minutes about our product and then told me that she would like to meet with us on April 7th (17 DAYS after the phone call). We did NOT contact another marketing firm due to our SET appointment and we waited to meet with them on the set date. The DAY before the meeting, Lynda gave me a call on my cell phone with the following message: "Brian, we are not able to meet with you tomorrow at your office because we have picked up some new clients and are not going to be able to assist you." We waited for over 2 weeks to speak to this company about a marketing plan and we expected them to keep the appointment. Due to this very unprofessional act, we have wasted 2 weeks of our time and now must start calling new companies to handle our project. We respected this company with a commitment of our time and NEVER expected to have been treated so disrespected or unprofessional. If this company did not want to work with us, they should have told us 17 days ago so that we could move forward. Waiting the day before the appointment to tell us that they have other clients they want to help is unbelievable. We want this noted with the BBB of how Richards/Carlberg handles their customers.
