JCPenney - Rude, Disrespectful

Wanted to purchase Paul Mitchell Shampoo & Conditioner that was on sale & advertised in ad. When approaching register to purchase items, (Limit 4) I was told I could not purchase them, this woman accused me of buying them for a salon I work at....

I had no idea what she meant, After I told her what are you talking about, she then accused me of buying them for someone else who works at this so called salon. I was confused, I couldn't believe what just happened, also before entering Salon I bought my son Levis jeans(you better believe i returned them) they lost me as a customer and a client(did i mention i get haircut here) I most definitely will be telling others to stay away from this RUDE establishment.

I will never enter another JC Penneys again.... I can buy the same Shampoo & Conditioner at ULTA, may be a few more dollars but it beats being discriminated.

"diverters" try to buy up more than the limit allowed, and sell to unauthorized outlets. these folks also will water down prodcuts.

do not buy salon products at your grocery or drug stores, these prodcuts are only authorized to be sold in salons only.

prices for these products are lower cost at salons than at grocery or drug stores! we had a client that bought a salon shampoo at a grocery store, when she opened the cap, the product was moldy.

Who cares if people sell them on websites or whatever else.If these companies charged a decent price people would not do these things. Also these expensive shampoos are no better for your hair than the stuff from kmart.Believe me I know people in the business. All thats different is some of the expensive brand may use more natural products or have a different smell neither of which will have any REAL effect on your hair.

They do this because there are people called "diverters" who buy up a bunch of salon products and sell them on websites or grocery stores or other unauthorized places. They also get a cut of what they buy. It's unfortunate because I like to stock up on certain products when they're on sale.
