African Pride's Detangle and Condition Pre-Shampoo(Buyer Beware!)

Today for the first time I used the African Pride Aloe & Coconut Water Detangle &Condition Pre- Shampoo that is new to the market. I had read on a website that it is great for natural hair to prevent damage. There was only one reviewer who stated that it did untangle her hair prior to washing. There is a misconception that it is an all natural product, it is definitely not. Read the ingredients please! That was the first red flag that I ignored. While I was putting it on my hair as per the instructions, I noticed immediately that my coil curls disappeared and it became bone straight. That was the second red flag. All natural hair care products do not and should not have a relaxer effect on your locks. As I was rinsing out the "gel goop", a small clump of hair came out, the third red flag! To prevent further damage I used a deep cleaning shampoo and a deep conditioner, that are not African Pride . The Pre-Shampoo has penetrated my hair strands and I'm hoping it is not permanent and my scalp feels a little tender. BUYER BEWARE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!
