4 night stay was booked thru for an 87 year olds birthday. It was supposed to be 3 of us. Jan 31 - Feb 4th fly from Tampa to chicago and then to Paris. To HOTEL LE123 SEBASTOPOL -ASTOTEL.They are jerks as well.. all over the news was talks of riots in Paris. We had bad feelings about flying into rioting when this was supposed to be a good vacay! Then our flights was cancelled and refunded bc of giant snowstorm in Chicago . Well that just was the omen to go ahead and cancel the hotel..HOTELS>COM refused to give us our money back of $1566.17! DO YOU BELIEVE THAT THEY KEPT IT? They will not work with us, reschedule, re book nothing, its like a done deal! We tried contacting hotel Le 123 directly.. another underhanded company, they must be working with hotels.ocm on how to rip off people! They as well will not refund nor reschedule.. How can anyone, company or not in good faith take that much money from people without heart? Without feeling bad? Crooks and hearts of stone type people.. This just isnt ten bucks we are talking about.. this is money that was saved up by good working people! Businesses have to be aware that stuff not under their control does happen.. and you must refund people...the customer is always right! I would NOT recommend using HOTELS.COM to anyone. We would have been better off losing $ to a lottery ...I’m sure the hotel rebooked our they double dipped... how nice to get ripped off...I will continue to post on here, and trip advisor to warn other people to choose 1) another booking company and 2) another country to visit...
