Refused AA travel credit Orbitz had confirmed in email
Orbitz sent an email confirming an AA travel credit. AA says I have no travel credit. Orbitz wont make good in this in spite of advising before cancellation that we would get a credit. Orbitz said they would send an email to AA and Id get an answer in 48 hours. They never got back to me.
Loss:
$680
Pros:
- Impossible to get refund
- Impossible to contact a representative
Cons:
- Lack of transparency
- Havent recieved my refund
- I was ripped off
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution
User's recommendation: Donโt use Orbitz or parent company Expedia. Use another travel agency or go directly to airlines.
