American Home Shield - Emergency ( Flooded Basement ) - Image 2

I have an emergency that started on 5-6-2022. The Representatives in the Philippines can not help me i need to speak with a US based Rep.

and can not reach anyone. My Home insurance has responded on 5-12-2022.

We have had a nasty finished basement for almost a week and still no help from American Home Shield. The will take the $100 fee and dispatch a plumber 48hr later only to cancel the work because they need to be on site at the occurrence.

The dispatch in the Philippines told me that it will take 48 hrs to respond. Our issue started on a Friday night 5-6-22 around 6pm.

The water drained by Saturday 9am. When the assigned plumber contacted me on Monday he said they could only respond if there was still a backup and would not come out since the water had receded. I requested immediate assistance on Friday when it was backed up, so how does that work when it takes more than 48 hrs to respond to an issue that went away in less than 24 hrs. I have had no response from American Home shield since my request for help.

We have contacted our Home Owners Insurance to get this taken care of. I will be contacting the BBB in Tennessee to try and reach an American Rep for American Home Shield.
