Paul C Buff Is a Rip Off Buyer Be Aware

Purchased some electronics and camera accessories through this company website on Feb 29Th 2012, the company ignored my order and refused to ship it to my business address, they asked me to wire them money. I refused and they suggested I replace the order and use my home address which I did on March 1st 2012. When I inquired about this last order, I was told that they will not ship to me and did not provide any info trying to force me to wire them money. Payment was made via American Express but they refused to complete my order for no valid reason beside the fact that they want me to wire them money which I do not feel comfortable doing. This company seems to be questionable and I need your assistance with my purchase and having this company comply with Fair trade act. These actions are biased and unethical. On both orders, the company simply accepted my order and they were so much of coward that they did not have the guts to email or call with a reason for refusing to complete my order. I am a legitimate business but was treated as an online criminal because of my business being a shipping center in Lowell MA. Guilty until proven innocent, I even placed the second order with my home address but they refused to ship, no explanations given besides forcing me to wire them the money which I will not do. Thus company could be a scam, buyer be aware.

You are clearly a reseller looking to diss punt their product. This will harm their business model.

Paul C. Buff is one if the last remaining wholesaler a that only sell direct and they have the best customer service I have ever dealt with.

They did a great job not shipping you. :x

#669470

I have dealt with Paul Buff for over 25 years and bought over 15 strobe heads. Never had a problem and they always went out of there way to fix repairs for free even when it was out of warranty.

They have always ship with in a couple of days.

Saying they are a scam is bogus. Nothing you say adds up.

How could you have had a monetary loss if they canceled your order? Also American Express is excellent about getting your money back in the event that someone accepts payment and then does not deliver product, so I find it unlikely that your $1535 loss is true which makes me questions your other complaints.

DHL Billing: Fraud in Progress
I have been using DHL for over 5 years, I have to admit that their non US service is great, once packages leave the US they get delivered on time. I recently discovered a billing error where DHL surcharged me over $1000.00 to ship a large package to Saudi Arabia....

Ebay: Gestapo Operation Of the 21st Century!!

Last Friday, our listings were removed under the pretext that our account was under performing and that our customer service feedback was below ebay Standards. Since then, we have tried to reach out to you via you 866 number, email chats and email. Nobody in your establishment is able to tell us exactly what went wrong and what we did to cause you to abruptly remove all our listings without notice. Our recent records showed that we had over 99% Positive feedback, we received great reviews and the only disputes we had open were from non paying bidders. We strive for excellence and work with all clients to resolve any unforeseen issues. For years, we have been a loyal client of Ebay and built our enterprise around ebay store and one of the main venues to build sales and get global product exposure. Today, I have to admit that I am very disappointed in the run around we have received and the difficulty we have experienced to talk to your Trust and safety representative. I am left with the feeling that Ebay does not care about its sellers that generate most of its revenue and that its actions resembles a gestapo operation for lack of better word. A quick search on Google will show that you have a growing generation of irate clients that you have been mistreated and that they are expressing their disappointment in Ebay via all available means online. This is clearly the WRONG way to do business and not very promising of bright future for Ebay. I have pleaded and begged for a call back to resolve our situation and determine what caused you to act in this manner and you have refused to return or answer my calls. Your lack of action and Wellingness to address my concern will leave me no other choice but to seek justice outside the Ebay system and take my business somewhere else. Sincerely Yours

Ebay's stock is at an all time low, last week they laid off 1500 employees (not 1000). Their sellers are leaving everyday.

ebay relies on paypal as its saving grace because they are losing fast. Google has their google check-out pay system and there are many others popping up too. It won't be long, ebay will take a turn for the worst. They fail to realize a good majority of their buyers are sellers too.

They think their new aquistion of buy.com is where their future is but they are dead wrong. buy.com does not sell specialty items and hard to find items that ebay sellers once offered. they are puposley chasing independent sellers away because ebay is now in the retail sales business with their own buy.com. they don't wany competition so they do everything to get good independent sellers off their site with no reasonable explaination.

Watch how they will decline fast. They have not made very smart moves recently and they will pay for their mistakes.

They're in big trouble and I think they may realize it now..it will get worse for them. Good, they deserve it.

:zzz I hear these stories all day long and was GLAD :) to hear that Ebay was laying off 1000 of its staff! This is the price to pay when you act as the GESTAPO operation of the 21st century, for the people that answered me and commented on my post, I suggest that you take a close look at these sites as alternatives to Ebay:

Ioffer.com Ubid.com Ebid.net

From my experience, they seem to be friendly, at least for now to the sellers.

I strongly believe that sellers should simply walk away from ebay. They SUCK!

#40733

Like the others, I have sold a great deal of merchandise on eBay over the last 6 years. I agree that eBay seems to not care about sellers anymore.

I stopped selling on eBay earlier this year, when they enacted their latest 'changes.' The answer is pretty simple; stop selling on eBay!

I have not looked back, and neither should you. Have a garage sale!

Well, I DID have a problem with shipping during an extreme personal crisis, but none of my customers got ripped off. eBay sent me a "Warning" message that my account would be under scrutiny for 30 days unless I improved my ratings.

Since things were on an even keel at that time I thought, "great -- 30 days to rebuild my reputation". Problem was they pulled all my listings only 11 days later!

They lied, they messed up my income and they destroyed my business. I have a roomful of inventory I can't move.

Worst part is, two of the most recent negative feedbacks were from customers in countries I don't ship to.

I refunded their $$ but they still left neg feedback, and I had no way to fight back.

Ebay has become a greedy, arrogant company.

Icverify Hidden fees, Seek other Alternatives

We wanted to cut Credit card processing fees and wanted to switch to a lower commission based processor. ICverify wanted $100.00 to re-register the software. This additional expenses will offset the savings and we believe that ICverify is taking full advantage of the monopoly they are in as they are holding us now hostage! To continue the use of the software that we have already paid for, we have to pay an additional $100.00! This is said to be in their terms and conditions that nobody reads or manage. I do not recall seeing this hidden charge in their software agreement but they claim they have it there! They also have the right to edit the agreement anytime they want! I called their Supervisor last week, left a message and they did not have the guts to return the call. Don't fall victim to their scam, shop around and keep in mind that they want access to your wallet every time you change vendors. This is the most outrageous scam I have ever seen.

diffferent issue

the Current version Of IC verify fails in all aspect of Credit card Authentication

I work with a company that deals with credit cards both in person and call in payments, Icverify doesn't even perform basic checks against the card info, invalid address info zip transaction still goes through, Invalid CVV code doesn't matter, it still processes. it allows for fraudulent cards to be processed.

Tested it several times today, every transaction had fraudulent information, every transaction successfully processed.
