On April 24, six days after I was locked out of my account without any explanation from FTX, customer service responded to my request for a reset and I was finally allowed access to my account. When I reported I was scammed out of $500 on their website I was directed...

So far, I have not heard from FTX support regarding their locking me out of my account holding my $1400 in crypto currency and holding my $500 in bitcoin in an escrow account. I sent two emails to FTX support and have a ticket number for each request. It has been five...

On April 18, 2022, I was locked out of my FTX US account which I had $1400 dollars in deposits for crypto currency. The FTX app would not send authenticator code to my e mail account but asked me to check my email.
The help page said I needed to request 2 factor reset to their support so I did.

However, all I got was a computer generated e mail that said "we may not respond for several days." After investigating posts on Reddit re my same problem I found many who never recovered their funds after being locked out and never getting help from customer service. FTX US has one phone number in Malaysia that I called for help but it is no longer in service. I read some people found help at www.ftx.us on telegram so I went there and after seeing all the co. list including the CEO FTX.US@***d it appeared to be legit.

I typed my message with my ticket number as I saw many others did and a FTX Compliance with the FTX logo answered me and said that FTX ran a database checking my account and they encountered a "down hash script error and bug inflation detected" on my account.
FTX Compliance said that in order for me to get a link in my mail to access my FTX account I would need to prove I made the deposits to my FTX account with pictures of my deposits from my bank statements. I provided that proof to FTX but then FTX Compliance said that I had to send $500 to an "escrow rectifying wallet address, bcqvt6878z9al4xucm6hrhp56yas5x3eefwcgv3q, that would be linked to my account and immediately refunded to me with my FTX funds. However, when I did this FTX Compliance said they "discovered a spy" on my account and I would not get my refunds to my account. When I asked for my $500 in escrow and my $1400 in my FTX account FTX said they needed "to make a top up" on my account and asked for another $1000 to the same address.
At this point I knew I had been scammed and told FTX I would take other steps if my funds weren't released.

FTX Compliance then said "Your funds are safe with us, mate." Yes, they have my funds from my account and now an additional $500 from their escrow con. This is a criminal enterprise and needs to be stopped.

I have found countless others in postings on internet sites such as Reddit, that were locked out of their accounts as I have been and most never got their funds back.
There needs to be legislation that prevents crypto predators from ruining people financially.
And the media and politicians who accept campaign donations from this crypto scam operation and promote them are promoting criminal capitalism at its worst and preying on small time investors caught up in the media hype of this scam. There needs to be a serious investigation and prosecution of this company because it is scamming Americans out of millions of dollars that disappear down the cyber rat hole.
