According to Green Dot Moneypak website if you are using a MoneyPak to load a prepaid card, then the card must be personalized with the cardholder’s name. Prepaid and bank debit cards must be activated. This means: The cardholder’s name is embossed on the card. The card has been activated. When you receive a personalized card in the mail, you must activate it by calling the number or visiting the website on the card.
According to Green Dot Moneypak website after purchase, there is a 20-minute delay before your MoneyPak is ready to use. After that, you’re ready to deposit the funds on your MoneyPak to an eligible prepaid or bank debit card. If depositing funds to a prepaid card, the transfer should be instant or near-instant. If depositing funds to a bank debit card, the load time will depend on when your bank posts deposits. In most cases, the funds are available right away.
