As of June 2022 LG continues to refuse help. So we had to buy a new oven to replace it at our own expense.
What a waste with a brand new LG oven going to the dump. Needless to say, our new oven is not LG
We still have had NO help from LG. They will not work on or replace our brand new stove.
The serial number is a metal tab that is held on by one screw.
We went to a dealer and had them show us how the tab is held on. This is a very bad design by LG for a serial number....
There was no serial number on the oven when it arrived. A tech came out three times to try and repair. He could not fix it and recommended it be replaced. The tech also verified to LG that it was new and there was no serial number on the unit.
We did have a serial number on the paperwork. We spent 5 months trying to resolve this issue with LG. The presidential liaison group told us we had reached the top and that they would not replace the oven. So we now have a brand new oven that does not work and WE have to pay for replacement.
LG does not honor their products. We have been treated very bad and will never buy or recommend LG again.
