We went to Lowes to order materials for our new deck. The purchase was about $1200 in building materials. The desk clerk helping us said we could get free delivery if we opened a Lowes credit card account. Sounds good right? Nope... We placed the order, CC Account was immediately approved. They charged our account for the material. We expected delivery about 3 weeks later and this was all fine. The materials were delivered on schedule with the contracted labor. We mentioned we had not received our Credit Card in the mail they said give another week or 10 days for the COVID Issues, etc. No problem. I wanted to get the account paid, so we just took the temporary CC Account info to the store and paid it off. Still no "hard card" in hand. Made mention again no card, and they said wait a week or so longer. Well this has been almost 2 months. No card. Finally, we went back to the Pro Counter and discussed this issue with the clerk who originally helped us and he said, oh the address is completley wrong, we need to fix this... Okay no problem. It turns out they cannot fix the issue in the store so we spend about 45min in the store on hold / online with the 800 number clerk. They wanted a verification "VIDEO" from the Phone holding the Driver's License next to the face, etc. The Phone clerk text a link to the phone on file for return Video verification. Why not a snapshot, i do not know... ANYWAY, We complied and sent the video. On the text requesting the verification video there is another 800 number to call after the text reply with the video. We waited a few minutes after sending the video and called. They asked for a verification "code" from the Verification Video Text. We gave them the code and they could not find it! OMG! Can these people do anything right? So after another 15minutes on the phone waiting and talking to the person who needed the verification video to change the address on the account, she said, I cannot find it. My wife got on the phone and asked if we could just CLOSE the Account! She said yes. Now how come they cannot change an address typo from the original clerk typing in the information but any unverified person can call and just close an account? This gets better. Now to close the account, we need to pay off the BALANCE that we already paid off! Oops she said no it is only $26 and some change. Well we just paid off the account the other days but maybe there was an issue. So we went to the register to pay off the final $26 and some change and then clerk said we could NOT pay off any Lowes Credit Card balance with a Lowes Gift Card!!! They won't even take their own verifiable money source! Okay this is getting nerve racking and anyone who has read this far needs to know we paid the balance in cash and kept the receipt! We decided to cut up the Lowes Gift Card (balance $41) and NEVER go to LOWES Again! If you go in and pay cash, you might be okay but I dont know. I do not think these people can do anything right when processing data, credits, etc.

User's recommendation: Only Pay in CASH with these Stores!!!!

Regarding: Order number: 01-04607-***** I did Not get my merchandise! The tracking number says it was delivered but I Did Not Get the Item. The postal person did not deliver the package to my box! eBay sided with the Seller and let them keep the money. I spent money for NOTHING! I went to the Post Office, and they said they do not know where it is. "It was delivered to a Community Mail Box and Postal Carrier must have put it in the wrong box". I asked for refund on my merchandise from the Post Office, and they said "The Person who Paid the Shipping Label MUST File the Claim." I cannot make the claim! eBay has no prevision for requiring the seller to make a claim on a misdelivered package. How do I get my money back? eBay is a RIP-OFF SITE !!!

User's recommendation: Think THREE TIMES before buying here. eBay is one sided for Sellers!!!

Tobacco General - SLOW to SHIP! They TAKE their sweet TIME

4 days to produce a shipping label and they cannot afford to send someone to the post office to drop it off. If you need something, just order it from China. It will get there faster.

American Steel Carports - POOR Service & Delivery

We purchased our Carport on the 13th of December 2018. We were promised a 6 week delivery time and this included the 2 week break for the Holidays. We said, sure no problem and we understand. As of the week of 7th Jan. We were supposed to get a phone call to schedule our installation. The phone call never came. We called the person who sold us the Cover and they get them to call us back. A promise was made and recorded on voice mail that we would be scheduled that week. No schedule. The 1st of Feb 2019, we called the "installation department" and were told the installation would happen as soon as they "sold more in our area". We trying to be good customers waited patiently. No phone calls as of 27th of Feb. So we called them back again! We were promised a phone call by the end of the week. I really don't think it will be a timely install. I will update the review as time goes by. SUMMARY: Purchase Date 13 Dec 2018 Promised Install 28th Jan 2019 Still waiting 27th of Feb 2019 STILL WAITING for an INSTALL DATE after almost 12 weeks! Angry

I wish I had researched more before my purchase. In faith, I gave my money and 2 weeks later they have not shipped the item. It was promised to be shipped 5 days ago and still nothing. No tracking,. no response to my emails. WOW! I looked further and the same products are available for less money on eBay and Amazon. At the least these places give good serviec or an esitmated delivery BEOFRE you buy. When they don't serve you as planned, you can get a refund from eBay or Amazon. It is over seen and controlled. HLN is not a good place to buy. Go someplace else! Dead
