To warn the public of the atrocities there!

There are many reasons not to go here. The patients are treated like children by some staff and barked orders at from others. The male staff walk in on the female patients in their bedrooms without knocking ( It happened 3 times to me while getting dressed after showering.) My Dr., Dr. Ashraf, told me if I didn't take the meds she prescribed for Bipolar(I am not Bipolar, I was manic from other meds Dr.'s in a previous hospital put me on) I would be forcefully injected and sent to the State Mental Hospital. I was NOT a danger to myself or others. Many other patients I became friends with told me she did the same thing to them. I was not given a 72 hour hold followed by a court proceeding, which is the law. I was locked in for almost 3 weeks. The PTSD I have has gotten so much worse after my stay there. Save yourself and DO NOT GO THERE!

Pros:
  • Good therapists in the groups
  • Good meals
Cons:
  • Being threatened to get forced injections
  • Dr totally disregarded what i had to say
  • Employees walking into bedrooms without knocking

Preferred solution: A settlement of a whole lot of money for the suffering I had there and in the present from PTSD, and will probably have for the rest of my life. Also there needs to be consequenses for Dr. Ashraf!

User's recommendation: DO NOT GO HERE!
