More damage after work was preformed illegally
Well at first it seemed going well the popcorn ceilings were removed all in one day! which was great.
His team mudded over the repaired areas and painted walls and ceiling. he was schedule to come back and finish after another contract was finished with the bathroom.
While waiting we noticed the mudded areas to have problems and all the ceiling tapes started to bubble.
They came back to finish the painting and never fixed the problem areas. he said he would come back to finish.
He/ They never did! Months of calls and texts that were documented, never responded.
I contacted the county to see what I could do about this.
They check their records and he Pender Painting did not have a license to work in my county. I was advised to contact the state Licensing Board. When I did they not only did they not have a license for the county they are not license at all to do any mud sheet wall work!!!
The state inspector came and found four (4) state violation and malpractices that he was at fault for! He also saw the damage that was created from the illegal unlicensed work that was preformed.
I had to take him to court to get a judge to rule.
I was ruled for damaged bad workmanship and compensations. As of this date 2 months later I have not received the rule monies owed for what was paid. My whole house ceiling and other mud work that Pender painting did is falling apart.
All our remodeling had to be held up until we get this fixed. The damage that was done would be an excess of $5000.00 additional to fix the damage done.
So no I would not hire again and would not recommend to anyone!
