POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE INFERIOR PRODUCT

I purchased a pelpro pellet stove from Tractor Supply in Nov of 22. Used it until Feb.

of 23 and the vacuum switch went out. Pelpro sent me a new one but I had to pay someone to put it in. I stopped using it in April because I didn't need the heat. I started using it again in Dec.of 23 and it worked for about 2 weeks but smelled very hot and like burnt wood and then wouldn't turn on.

I had someone look at it again and they couldn't figure out what was wrong. I have called and written several times and no one will get back to me. I am a widow on a fixed income and just lost $1800 on this stove plus the $150 charge every time I had someone come and look at it.

I now have no alternative heat source. I would love a refund and they can have their stove.

This is a DIY product if you are not comfortable working on the product you should have bought a Harman that comes with dealer support. I have worked with customer serivce and they are vey responsive whether it be via email or phone. Call times can get high during the winter months but they are not a huge call center and its only run with about 10 people from what I have been told.

3 week stove

Pelpro - 3 week stove

Installed my pp70 on 11-11-23 and by 12-6-23 it broke. Downloaded the manual and nothing in the troubleshooting section covers what it is doing.

Technical help is no help at all and they have no idea, yet I'm expected to repair it myself.

Alarm says hopper is empty when it is full and it will run for about 10 minutes and feed pellets and then shut off. This weekend it is going back to Menards.

The other day went to clean my stove, had it for almost 2 years at this point. The piece if metal that locks the glass fire door fell off.

Here due to their products being made in SouthEast Asia, there is a clear manufacturing issue. Looks like the metal just snapped off like a twig. I email customer service as they have removed their phone number from their website. They did respond quickly to that email in which I replied with the required photos, proof of purchase, etc in 15mins or less.

It then took them, and 3 follow up emails from me, another 7 hours to respond back giving me an update. I asked if it could be expedited since I can't use the stove without this fix. They said the best they could do was 2 days from time shipped. Ok, that is fine.

Key word there though is by time shipped...I didn't hear back from them. I sent a follow up email the next day asking for an update. I finally got an update it will take 2 weeks for the warranty department to adjudicate and ship a replacement. I responded back about wait I was told 2 days.

They said they could see what they could do. I highly doubt I will be able to use my stove for the rest of March. This is just awful customer service. Them not being able to make whole their customers due to their failings is horrendous.

They can correct this issue by shipping the part out so i can start my stove back up again in a few days. I later found out that this is a problem with all the stoves of the model I have. They buried a notice in their website. Again, their lack of notice to customers is nuts.

This is a Gar-Boge company.

I am hoping I can get 10 years out of this stove, I am finding out I doubt that. Do not buy from them.

It will probably be spring before it arrives. There factory must be shut down as the controll boards are on bo this long! Or they have thousands of these built with no controll boards! Sounds like the chip shortage for the trucks last year!

Don't make sense. Sitting here looking at this hunk of steel sitting there collecting dust! Great job pelpro! It's a great piece of art to look at!

Not worth *** if it won't fire up! Great job!. Guess I'll look at a different company!

Customer service is a joke! If you guys can't keep good parts in-stock just shut your doors you'll never be any good.

Piece of crap stove

Have went through 2 pp150 stoves and each one has had issues. Of course you people have no phone number to get in touch with you.

You want your money but dont provide good customer service at all. I do NOT recommend anyone buy from pelpro.

Exhaust fan stops mid cycle, fills house with smoke

The exhaust fan stops once the lighting cycle is compete. PelPro customer care is only open 4 days a week.

I have already replaced the control board. Nothing but people's with this since I bought it. I will never buy PelPro again. You get what you pay for: low quality.

It's 25 F right now and we have no heat and no help.

If I could give it less than 1 star I would. Media size is way to small to upload.

I was told not to buy a pelpro bc of the issues, had issues ever since I bought it, hard to get ahold of someone, poor business hours, keeps giving me error 1 flash code empty hopper, clean hopper reset runs one cycle then flashes one time again for empty hopper, very frustrating

Auger won't work

The pellet stove is new burned 15 bags through it. Clean it every 3 days. I shut it down to clean the stove and when I went to fire it up the auger wont feed pellets I made sure the Auger wasnt plugged with dust.

Mine did the same thing, when I went check the vacuum switch ,I pulled the vacuum line off and dust came out of the line! I had to tap the switch to knock all the dust out of it! Started working again!

Brand new stove not working, no power at switch control

Bought stove last Saturday November 19th at tractor supply, used several times since then , worked great, I used it yesterday and turned it off last night before I went to bed, got up this morning cleaned it out tried starting it and no power to switch control, no led light , very disappointed, please let me know what you think -Thanks

Pellet stove purchased and installed yesterday (Friday), worked for 2 hours, now not even turning on. Tried all trouble shooting suggestions.

No customer service available on weekends. Not even a phone # to call in manual.

Warranty part

called to see were my warranty part was. they said 2 to 3 days it be shipped.

then called again 10 days later and found out its on back order.

it will not be shipped till the middle of December. would have been nice to now from the start.
