Question about service

About 3 weeks ago I called our local Pella dealer to request service for a broken cord between two window panes. I was told our model could be repaired, and we would be receiving an estimate, which we would need to sign before service could be scheduled. Not having received the estimate after two weeks, I called our local dealer again, and was told the same procedure, with no estimate yet. When can I expect service????

Broken roller screen

Took Multiple phone calls waiting up to 45 mins per call . Then gave up and e-mailed. Needed a bunch of explanations and pictures and measurements. Don't have a serial number because it faded on the door. Bought in 2009 for a kitchen remodel. The door is warranted for lifetime (baaHaHa ) . Only God knows where any paper work might be! Have had 2 other roller screen doors, never had a problem (not Pella). Thought I was buying the best .Wrong ! They sent me to a website where I could order the roller to replace it for $70. Free shipping whoopee! No picture of said part and they just shipped it on the 12TH, Haven't gotten any more info We will see if this is right ! BTW the parts are made by Larson manufacturing.

Contacted customer service about a product and was treated very rudely and there was no follow up after I complained. We have spent $25000 with this company and gave them many referrals which I will never do again!

I bought pella windows a lowes in 2019 well on is leaking and since the manufacturer date is what they go by not purchase date they wont cover it they want 160 to send tech out when I only paid 128 for window the limited lifetime warranty is ***

Contacted Pella about replacement rubber weather strips for my casement windows which are torn.They acted as though they'd never heard of it,even though it's the same on all my casement and double hung windows. and not an uncommon problem Then they asked for every bit of personal info about myself short of my SS number which told me they are more interested in data mining than customer service.Pella service is worse than useless.

Extreme poor communication and delays

Two patio doors ordered March 4 were scheduled for installation in May and chged to June 4. The job was left w a long list of repairs and missing parts. Primary issue was no security as locks didnt work or were missing. Since that time we have received very little communication and visits w little or no repairs. No screen yet. We ask for completion plus cancellation of remaining payment and $ for security wall

Orig install date early May changed to June 4 with not all parts delivered leaving us w no security as neither door locked!! Very poor communication w job supervisor. We have accommodated every visit involving moving furniture yet only partial work done. We are not new to construction and have 17 Pella windows w latest a large bay window. Expect settlement of bill. Tk You

Pella balance box and strings broken

Pella refuses to fix or tell me how to repair older Pella windows with balance box and strings that are now broken. Windows dont open or come crashing down when trying to open. Very dangerous. What can I do?

Don't let these *** in your house. We bought a sliding door through Pella. Thank God thats all we bought. The salesman said the install would be easy, no paint or drywall work. Liar. No siding issues. Liar. Their door was better than the older slider it was replacing. Liar. Plus the install clowns have no idea what they are doing. They beat the *** outta this door. Looks worse than the 20 yr old door it replaced. RUN from Pella

They don't stand by their product

We have Pella in between the glass blinds. One of the ladders broke .They have no options for fixing their blind ladders except to possibly do it yourself. Well the close to 10 places I contacted will not work with Pella so how do they expect the average person to figure it out when they won't even stand by their product. Their costumer service sucks too! They just want you to create mare garbage by not fixing them and buy new blinds for upwards of $500 plus a window. Don't buy their product! Especially if you expect some costumer service !don't buy this product!

I didnt get to speak to anyoneso my review is pretty negative. It would be nice if this company were easier to contact via phone with concerns. It should be as easy to call and speak with customer service with concerns and complaints as it is to order items.

Defective window installed by Lowes and Lowes would not address the issue

Pella got in touch with me immediately after I contacted PissedConsumer and they are correcting the problem!! The window is still under warranty. They are replacing it for us! Thank you PissedConsumer!!

Haunted Pella window

FYI You are going to think I'm a but it happened. I have a witness. Out of one of your windows, I see 2 red glowing eyes. We eliminate reflection. We know animal eyes don't glow until a light source hits them. This went on for months. Same window, same red glowing eyes. After a lot of research on evil things, I decided to check the upper pane. A whim! There are no eyes. What would cause this in the window? My husband went down and stepped all over the red glowing eyes. They were tossed all over but regained their position. It is driving me crazy. Please solve this strange Pella window
