Horrible customer service

I took an Uber to Pedego Tampa because I left my bike battery key in New York. The staff made up some story about having no keys, they were on order.

This is a lie because the keys are universal and they have plenty of bikes in stock. I paid $6 and they said two weeks it will be in.

Three weeks later the staff just blew me off, they don't have a key, they have no idea when it will arrive and I can cancel the order if I like, knowing full well that I needed the key to access my battery. They were rude and not interested in helping me, even though I paid already in cash.

I called the Dunedin Pedego and David said come by tomorrow and he just gave me two keys for free. The keys are universal so it's real easy to replace them.

So I called Tampa Pedego and said to refund me the money.

They said I needed to physically go to their store, which cost me $25 already for the Uber ride, each way. They refused to mail me the refund, they refused to send me a check, they were sending me 4 long paragraphs on whey they had to follow some dumb "policy" and common business practices, even though I said I would take the risk if the cash (they would only refund cash as per a policy that I was not informed of).

Magically after I asked for the refund, a key appeared and the owner contacted me. But I was so angry at the horrible way they treated me I said forget it, keep the $6.

Can you imagine causing so much stress and anxiety to your customer over a $6 key that they could have given me the first day I was at the store?

Horrible customer service, rude, wasted my time and I'm still out the $6! Never go to Pedego Tampa, go to Dunedin.
