Verified ReviewerBought an access code through my university for an eText. Guess what? I found out it DIDN'T come with the purchase. Requires me to pay an additional $61.09 CAD just to buy the *** *** eText!
I'm a computer science student, so I'd like to think I know my way really well around computers. When you buy a product that SAYS it includes the *** eText for my Java programming course, I expect it to be included with the $96 purchase! Lo and behold, I get into my account, only to find out that the eText is NOT included in my current subscription?! I have to PAY an additional $61 CAD just to get access to the electronic version of the textbook?! *** no! Only interactive exercises are included in this *** purchase! Pearson, fix your *** customer service system AND your definition of customer service!

User's recommendation: DO NOT BUY ANY ETEXT FROM THEM. IF YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO BUY THE PAPER VERSION, BUY THE *** PAPER VERSION! SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE.

Course not working
I was trying to find out why my courses on InformIT.com do not work. This was a good start. I have been asked to call the digital site folks @ 800 567 **** Let’s see what happens. Been talking to the Phillipines tech support & they have not been trained to solve such issues

Customer care service need to be improved
I contacted Pearson for my edexcel higher national diploma several times, through email. Nobody contacted me yet. I tried calling the numbers provided there including the toll free number. All I get is a message saying the number doesn't exist.
