Product didn’t work, company refuses to refund purchase because it was purchased on Amazon. Amazon won’t refund bc it is a good product

I ordered this product from Amazon. Amazon will not refund the purchase bc it is a food item. I then called the company directly (Peak Biome) and they wont refund bc it was ordered thru Amazon. The item does not work as advertised. Therefore it is useless to me. It was expensive (49.99). Id like my money back.
