Loan

I applied for a loan with you all and still have not hear anything. Can you please email me and let me know something?

I have many bills that are due and need to be paid quickly. I really need this oan. Can you please let me know something soon. Thank you.

I also have medical bills and medicinces I need that are life sustaining. I have no one else to help me and I am a single mother of a sixteen year old son. When I spoke to the person on the phone, they made me believe I would get this loan in a day or two.

It has been three days now and I have heard nothing. rhondajmiller67@***.com

Peachtree Communities - House Building Review from Snellville, Georgia

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I just lost over $4000.00 in upgrades due to loosing a contract with Peachtree community NOW doing business as Century. They built the wrong elevation and we're very unprofessional also sloppy with paper work.

There were a lot of cosmetic issues they didn't want to fix. I was promised they fix it when I signed off on the walk through and went back it was not completed.

From reading the complaints, I'm happy to walk away from this deal with the lost. It's sad how builders can get away with this

DONT NOT BUILD WITH PEACHTREE COMMUNITIES - THEY BUILT THE WRONG ELEVATION ON OUR HOME AND THEN TERMINATED OUR CONTRACT

Updated by user Sep 16, 2014

Please disregard my typos. Thanks!

Original review Sep 16, 2014

My husband and I are first time home buyers and we have had the worst experience with Peachtree Communities Builders. They are rated a “C” score by the Better Business Bureau and have tons of bad reviews. We truly wish we would have paid more attention to the reviews prior to purchasing with them. Here is a list of the things we have gone through with Peachtree Communities:

1. The sales agent we dealt with name is Kyle Johnson. She was very rude and easily irritated at times when my husband and I asked her questions. I have several emails of her unprofessional behavior that I do not mind sharing.

2. We signed a contract March 3, 2014 for our new construction home to be complete July 26, 2014. It is now September 16, 2014 and the home is still not complete. We’ve wasted so much extra funds on extended living expenses.

3. Items were changed and edits were made to our contract AFTER it was signed. The day we signed the contract, we were given a copy. Our copy and the copy Peachtree Communities is using as their official copy is very different. I requested a written explanation of why the changes were made and I never received one. (Again, I have more email traffic on this topic that displays selling agent Kyle Johnson’s rude behavior and her unwillingness to provide me an explanation on why changes were made to the contract after we signed it.

4. (You aren’t going to believe this one!!!!) OUR CONTRACT SPECIFICALLY STATES “ALL BRICK FRONT D ELEVATION 19-21” (on the copy of the contract we signed and on the copy of the contract that Peachtree Communities changed without our approval). PEACHTREE COMMUNITIES BUILT AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT ELEVATION THAN WHAT IS STATED IN OUR CONTRACT. THE ELEVATION BUILT HAS SHAKE SIDING MATERIAL ON NEARLY 50% OF THE HOME. WE REALIZED THIS AT THE END OF AUGUST. WE IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED THE SALES AGENT AND THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE. THE SALES AGENT AVOIDED US AND CORPORATE SIMPLE DISREGARDED THAT THE CONTRACT STATES “ALL BRICK FRONT D ELEVATION 19-21” AND TOLD US THAT “ITS TOO LATE TO CHANGE THE ELEVATION NOW.” THEY ALSO FALSLY ACCUSED US OF SIGNING OFF ON THE ELEVATION OF THE HOME ON A SEPARATE SHEET OF PAPER THAT WAS OUTSIDE OF THE CONTRACT. WHEN MY HUSBAND INITIALED THAT PIECE OF PAPER, IT ONLY STATED “D” ELEVATION. WE DID AGREE THAT THE ELEVATION WOULD BE A “D” AND ACCORDING TO OUR CONTRACT IT WOULD BE “D” 19-21. (19-21 ARE ALL BRICK FRONTS). AFTER WE LEFT ON SIGNING DAY, THE NUMBER “22” WAS WRITTEN IN ON THAT PAPER. WE HAVE COPIES OF WHAT WE ACTUALLY SIGNED. AS A RESULT, PEACHTREE COMMUNITIES OFFEREED US ONLY $3,000 OFF ANOTHER HOME THAT COST $30,000 MORE THAN OUR CURRENT HOME. WE REQUESTED HARDWOOD FLOORS IN THE KITCHEN FOR CONSIDERATION AND WE WERE DENIED.

5. (and there is more!!!) I ‘d requested a face-to-face meeting with the sales agent, Kyle Johnson, and her manager, Monica Philips on 3 different occasions and was never to granted a single meeting. Further, on September 8th my husband and I went to visit the house and we saw another sales agent showing our house to another couple. Only then did we find out our contract had been terminated. 1st, Peachtree Communities builds the wrong home, 2nd, they never would schedule a meeting with me to so that I could share the proof I have on us getting a full brick front and to discuss what happened or even simple apologize for the inconvenience, and 3rd, they terminated our contract without even calling to let us know what was going on. We still have not received a reason for why they terminated the contract. After Peachtree Communities made a huge mistake as huge as building the wrong front of the house, you’d think they’d be kind enough to not terminate us….especially not before discussing the matter with us.

6. Gratefully, we found a much better home still in our price range with Fischer Homes (they are GREAT by the way. Extremely knowledgeable, honest and professional.) But unfortunately, we had already paid for an inspection and an appraisal on the Peachtree Communities home and we never received our money back.

IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING BUILDING WITH PEACHTREE COMMUNITIES, I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU READ THROUGH ONLINE REVIEWS AND CONSIDER ANOTHER BUILDER.

Peachtree communities now they change names to century communities this's the worst company I bought a house 2015 was crack more than 1/2 inches in basement slab. I called warranty they told me ,that's normal on concrete.

And now I have to pay someone to get it corrected If trying to buy a house from CENTURY COMMUNITIES don't do it !! They will rip you out!!

They keep changing their name after they screw so many people over. Before Peachtree communities, they were called something else.

I hope people do their research before building with them. So sorry this happened to you.

Don't build with PeachTree !!! They should be in prison.

We have a peachtree home in Blythewood, SC. And we have been trying to get in touch with tthe warranty center.

They do not have a number anymore only email. Then they do not answer your emails. So now we cant get any answers or in touch with them. The number that use to be theirs is now Century Builders.

And they claim they do not have a number for peachtree but they are afiliatated with peachtree warranty on some of their warranties.

They are the worst. Find another builder stay away from peachtree
