Warning to avoid at all costs

AI Highlights
  • - Stressful experience with the Ongar office; required personal effort to complete on time and resolve issues with the Ombudsman to secure documents.

Try to avoid at all costs, dishonest company and staff, unprofessional, not interested in final results, be ready to push your case constantly.

I worked with Ongar office, so stressful experience, if not my own effort my case would not be completed in time and I would loose the bank offer , which was with very good rates. Even after completion had to apply to Ombudsman to resolve the issues and receive the final documents. They only respect the authority power but not the client.

User's recommendation: try to avoid

Worst Customer Experience of my Entire Life.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - It took three months to finish the sale with no chain and lost emails.
  • - Ombudsman complaints followed; the response blamed others and gave no apology.

Following complaints procedure with legal ombudsman and a less than satisfactory response of refusal to accept any blame and basically a catalogue of excuses and points to basically push blame on to myself. I didn't want any money from them I just wanted a sincere apology for which I have not received and I am gutted.

I now feel I am in a position to review the company online, I did not want to do this until all legal procedure had been completed. I will keep this short and sweet as to be honest I just now want the whole experience out of my head. Over three months to complete a sale with no chain, constant lost emails, no urgency to move forward, passed through about 6 different people, no continuity, had to chase documents myself, spent hours and hours on the phone and on email. Waited over 6 weeks for response to complaint and only once Ombudsman contacted them did they bother to reply and surprise surprise was fobbed off with the excuse they hadn't recieved my complaint email although this was sent using the procedure documented on their website.

I am not a complainer but I feel I have to get my opinion out there with this company. They made me very ill with stress to the point I had to take time off work.

Not even cheap which may have slightly cushioned the blow. DO NOT INSTRUCT PCS LEGAL TO ASSIST WITH ANY PROPERTY SALE/PURCHASE.

Best to avoid- Zero Rating

AI Highlights
  • - Poor communication and slow completion.
  • - Bought 2 flats at OldChurch Park with PCS Legal; over a year since completion, no Completion Statement.

I have 5 properties and as you can imagine I have fair bit of experience with Conveyancing/Property Lawyers. With out any hesitance I have to say that this firm is the worst in communication and completion.

I have recently bought 2 flats in OldChurch Park and have gone for PCS legal as they seems to be local. I have nothing but BIG HEADACHE with these lawyers. The communication was very poor and it is impossible to talk with the case handler. If you are lucky to speak with the case handler, you find them very rude and abrupt.

I did want to raise the concerns till the contracts are exchanged as I was worried that this might cause more problems!

I was happy that the completion was over and expected some improvement in communication. It is now more than a year since the completion and till now I did not received FINAL COMPLETION STATEMENT in spite of several emails to the case handler as well as to the Partner of the Firm!

Poor customer service
