Sold me a HP laptop that was after market modified

AI Highlights
  • - Modded RAM from 32 GB to 64 GB was not disclosed on Amazon.
  • - Avoid this company; buy directly from the manufacturer.

HP laptop was aftermarket modified from 32 GB RAM to 64 GB RAM and was not stated as such on Amazon when purchased. Would not stay online via WIFI connection.

Upon calling HP factory tech support, HP would not support the PC or honor the factory warranty once they discovered this. When attempting to contact PC Online to return the laptop via the Amazon process, over 10 emails and at least 10 voice messages directly to the vendor, they ghosted me (100% UNRESPONSIVE!!). Customer service voicemail says the support staff is busy with other customers, but the truth of the matter is they never answer or respond!! This company goes by multiple names; they are the HP store on Amazon as PCOnline US...

Avoid this company AT ALL COSTS!! Buy direct from the manufacturer!!!

Loss:
$1200
Cons:
  • Rip off artists

Preferred solution: Apology

User's recommendation: Avoid as if they were Covid......at age 65 I can say this was the most frustrating and disasterous purchase I ever made
