BEWARE of these HACKERS! They stole all of the photos off our computer, then wanted us to pay hundreds to “repair” my computer. WARNING!!! 1-85*-877-****, they are FRAUDS. They stole thousands of photos, are located off shore in India, you cannot speak to anyone in America who can help you. You have been warned. I never knew a small software glitch in Microsoft Word could have resulted in such a fracas the other night. But that is what exactly happened while I sat down to prepare an important piece of documentation my boss had asked me to prepare for the annual general meeting which was supposed to take place the next morning. Luckily, not being much of a computer geek I managed to store a list of numbers for the top-notch premier tech support entities. And on top of this list was WWW.PCCare247.com site and even though I had never ever felt the need for calling up such an organization before, deep in my heart I knew this organization would go on to solve the issue on hand. I don't know maybe it was just that the name had a sweet ring to it. So, I ended calling the 24x7 tech support organization and I was very warmly greeted by a techie named Juliet Khan on the other. Girl was this good!! You betcha he was a techno geek and knew all the nitty-gritties about MS Office. And well, as It happened Juliet was instrumental in not only diagnosing the problem on hand but also coming out with an effective solution. He right away knew a crucial update was all that was required to get MS Word running once again. And what to say the lad was right indeed. The problem was solved right away!!! This was easliy the most unpleasant phone call I have ever received. It took me asking three times for her to finally identify herself as 24/7 PC Care. She wanted me to get to my computer "quickly" because it had been hacked. I said it was running fine and she said in the background she could show me what was wrong. I asked her to take us off the call list and she kept going! She said they had to help fix my PC, she was rude and kept telling me to get in front of my computer. I finally said I am in front of my computer, it is fine, please take us off your call list.
