, as promised please use the PC Richard Credit Card. I understand you do not set policy however you have been my liaison with Management from December 2020 till today with regard to service on the HVAC System.
For what it matters I can understand having to pay for a service call. Initially you assured me that the service person would have the necessary parts which he did not have. Upon inspection, the thoughts were possibly a Surge in Electric Supply, or bad circuit board. I spoke with you and you suggested the same as you indicated you had somewhat of a background in Electrical Engineering.
I had a Surge Protector Installed. Service #2 Service person installed new circuit board and unit was repaired less the air sweep that component needed to be replaced No fee was charged because of the time from December to April waiting for parts. A decision was made to order the part and you would get back to me when item was available. When you called me with available part you advised of a Service call charge of 162.00 which I was not thrilled about but needed to finish repair.
Days later we spoke and set up an appointment and you told me that I would have to pay for a two hour service calls ($325.44). Now we are at 325.44 dollars. I questioned would warranty be void if I did not have air sweep replaced and your response was yes , warrant would become voidas part was ordered and old part must be returned. I investigated your response and learned just the opposite.
Today the service man came and was in and out in 40 minutes, not the two hour time you quoted me. Sum and substance I waited 6 months for the unit to be repaired and a $500.
payment.
Having been a PC Richard Customer for 40 years I am disappointed in how this whole matter evolved. Safe to say that I probably will not deal with PC Richards in the future.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product replacement. Service man came late but I was very pleased with his professional service and courteous manner. He worked very hard and did an excellent job and even saved me money on a part replacement..

Terrible customer service and no extensions of service as a result of COVID
I bought a 65 inch smart TV with a 2 year repair plan in January 2019 for my apartment in Florida. I reside in New York and due to COVID was not able to return to my apartment from 2/20 until 5/21.
When I returned the tv did not work. I learned that the problem I was having was common for this model. My 2 years ended 1/21 and Best Buy policy during COVID is a 2 month extension which gave me until 3/21. As stated I could not get back to the apartment until 5/21 .The manager of the boca raton store, John Willard has not responded to my emails regarding this..
I have been a loyal customer for years and have purchased many products including home systems. It cost me $800 to use a TV for 1 year. It will cost over $500 to get it repaired.
As a result of this, I will have to abandon this TV and buy a new one. I will let everyone know the way I have been treated and especially the rudeness of the Boca Raton manager, John Willard, in ignoring me.

I purchased a samsung stove Aug 2015 at the time of the purchase the sales person offered us extended warranty of five years. The appliance s range came with a one year warranty.
When we purchased the stove the salesperson never ever told us that once we purchase the extended warranty on our samsung appliance that we would be "voiding" the one year agreement of warranty from the factory. And that all though we paid an addiitional several hundred dollars for extend service/warranty our coverage would be for five years absent the one year from the factory. When we purchased we understood we would have a six year warranty! WHY WOULD THEY CALL IT EXTENDED WARRANTY!
when I spoke to customer service the girl told me she understood how we felt but she was sorry that the salesperson did not explain the coverage and that we had the option to wait up to a year before we purchased. why would we have paid for the extended warranty if we had been properly informed?! Presently the temperature panel is not working or registering the temperatures for the oven. I am very upset!
That now I have to pay 150.00 for service call including any parts. I finally spoke to a supervisor by the name of Nikkea who was short of being polite and hung up on me, My husband and I have been P.C Richard customers for over 20 years. Her uncaring attitude was not acceptable. We are seniors and live on social security.
I want my stove repaired! your extended coverage is farce.
And PC Richard should do right by us totally disgusted! I can be reached at 631450****.

In mid January my Samsung washer covered by a service contract would not begin wash cycle with a full load.
Called service department and was told unable to schedule service for three weeks.
Not thrilled about having to wait three weeks for service but had little choice.
Service tech shows up on Feb 4th and tells me needs to order parts WILL BE ANOTHER THREE WEEKS. which was today,
Tech showed up nice and early at 7 am and did not have correct parts for the repair.(cant make this stuff up)
Said he will have someone from his warehouse bring the correct part and he will return by 5pm today,
it is now 3;10 and no word on status.
PC Richards should be ashamed for taking money for service contracts and being unable or unwilling to provide timely service on their appliances. Word to the wise paying them for a service contract is a complete waste of money

Where to start?! Dryer problem starts in august 2020 repair 3 weeks later.
Breaks down one month later. Wait another 3 weeks for part then 3 more weeks for them to come and repair. Now December washing machine doesnt work. Guys come 3 weeks to state problem wait an additional 3 weeks bc they didnt have a part.
New guy comes jan 2021 to fix it and states we didnt need the part bc he found a sock stuck. He changes the part anyway. Now 3 weeks later water is pouring out of the bottom of washer onto my basement floor. I called for repair yet again and have to wait another 3 weeks.
This is BS! You pay for extended warranty but all the while waiting and waiting for a repair.
There should be a way they get to u sooner if you have already had problems with your machine especially when they come to fix it. Never again will we be buying from pc Richard any appliances.
