PC Micro cancelled Amazon order to sell on Ebay
I received an iPad2 for Christmas and spent hours and hours researching cases/covers for it. I finally found one on Amazon (through their Amazon Marketplace vendor service so it was not Amazon's fault) and ordered it. This item was backordered until 1/19/12 (no problem - sounded like it was worth the wait). Just a few days ago I received an e-mail from Amazon stating that my order was cancelled (no reason given). Again I was not all that upset because these things happen. I decided to see if I could find the same item on Ebay. Well, guess what??? The Amazon Marketplace vendor that cancelled my order on Amazon was now selling this item on Ebay for 4x the price they were selling them on Amazon. Seems to me they put the item out on Amazon to attract the most notice then realized they could make so much more now that they have the product recognition.

I contacted this company thru their item listing on eBay and received an immediate response. They stated that there was a mix up, apologized and allowed me to purchase the case at the Amazon price thru their eBay listing. I am totally satisfied with the purchase and their handling of the situation once I brought it to their attention.
