Very Good Show, But Get Rick Steves Off The Air
That ego guy sticks his face everywhere and is boring as *** Stop those shorts from him after the quality programming because these shorts suck and detract from the previous program. Would not do anything Rick Steves recommends or buy anything he sells. PBS has good programming and should stick to what they do best. The bad ads and programs like Rick Steves detract from their reputation. Lose him somewhere in Europe and don't bring him back.

Misled/not informed on Gift Card purchase
My grandchildren (Christmas visit from out of state) were given Hibbett Sports cards from our area of the country. There was no reason to believe that the card could not be used for online purchases so no worry over the Christmas gift card or location of Hibbett stores in their area. Of all the cards I have purchased, or been given, (from well-known stores offering and encouraging "gift cards" and having advertised online sites for purchase of merchandise) none have ever been known NOT to accept their very own gift cards! This is the 21st century and there were more online purchases this year than any year prior. The age of buyers has increased dramatically and with this we have seen more shopping on line. However, there is also an increase in online spending with the middle age group and younger customers as well. You do the research! Now I know that Hibbett does NOT honor gift card purchases online and that it is in the small print. If that policy is to be kept by Hibbett's company then there should be a readable sign posted at the register or check out persons should be trained to tell buyers about the absurd condition of sale when a card is purchased. This was embarrassing to my child and grandchildren when they had to return the cards. It was certainly even more embarrassing to my son and daughter-in-law who purchased and gave the cards at Christmas.

I tried to activate my "So Called" PBS account. My problem was with my activation code L97AHB264 would not activate. I called to inquire why. I tried the suggestion offered, but it didn't work. I called back and was treated like my problem was insignificant to them. I told them that I called twice and due to their attitude I wished to cancel. I wasn't belligerent or screaming, but I wanted to speak with a supervisor. After numerous request for a supervisor, the person who was supposed to be helping me hung up in my face. not happy.

I am so pissed about the lack of reception by PBS. I have repeatedly complained to them about this before, still they continue to NOT understand how important some of their programing is to the rest of us. I want to see Masterpiece Theater, Nova and various history programs. If they cannot provide the service w/the finest quality, then by all means Optimum should have a right to be released from any contracts that are binding that prevents them from having your corporation to bring in PBS from Colorado or Utah. You people charge an arm and a leg and then some to have the privilege of entertainment. I have shut down some of your programing and will continue to do so or replace it w/Direct. Kapeesh? Tavis Smiley slanders Christians on gov't funded PBS
PBS should cancel the Tavis Smiley show and stop wasting our tax payer dollars to air such filth and lies. On June 10, 2010 Tavis Smiley slandered all Christians and said on his show in defense of Muslim violence "that Christians are doing the "same thing" blowing things up in America" and went on to claim that post offices are being attached be Christan's and that Columbine massacre was conducted by Christians and that Tea Party activists are calling calling black people N word which is completely untrue. A $50,000 reward still exists for any video tape of any such incidence. I call for a ban of public funds to air such lies and hatred. thay changed there name but not there game the new # is 949 528 ****. im sure its the same rick hagan and his crue, the old office # also goes to the same awnser machine, this guys will not quit even thay are on trail for the feds now.thay claim thay are in ca, but thay close at 5 eastern time, it said so on the awnser machine, i wonder what is going on with thes guys just type in rick hagan in googel or andy *** he is the one i met, he wood say any thing to get your money i think he has already been found guilty
