I'm a freelance music composer for media using Payoneer to receive payments from some of the largest international music library companies since October 2017. I have received dozens of payments each year without any issues until June 2023 when Payoneer canceled a payment from Pond5 (from whom I received numerous payments since registering with Payoneer) without reason and without contacting me about the matter.
After many futile online chats with their customer support, where they provided a bunch of excuses just to buy time and entertain me, my money is still not released and remains in their possession.
Upon researching online reviews and complaints about Payoneer, I came across sites like PissedConsumer, Complaints Board, Trustpilot, Ripoff Report, etc., where I read many (and I mean MANY) customer reviews spanning several years, all complaining about the exact same procedure they used with me.
So, it seems this is not an isolated incident.
Since almost a year has passed, and because I am tired of waiting for my money to be released, I will escalate this matter to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), a U.S.
government agency dedicated to making sure you are treated fairly by banks, lenders and other financial institutions. Additionally, I will share this entire story with the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) because they also appreciate learning about such corruption cases.
Heres my advice: If you are a freelancer working with international companies, stick to reliable platforms like PayPal and avoid falling victim to companies like the one I am complaining about - just as you would avoid a plague!

22 days down. Payoneer has still not transfer my funds as they say they my bank rejects they payment.
My bank has no issues getting funds from other sources so this is clearly untrue. It's 12 days since I heard anything from Payoneer " customer service" regarding this...
Issue still not solved. Payoneer just keeps sending a bunch of emails that neither solves or helps situation. Any reply takes 3 days and adds no solution that clear this issue
If my company changed to payment system (payoneer) i would be happy.
Not my first time were Payoneer does not transfer payments and states fibs, which are easy to check
1) Payoneer states: "Unfortunately, this payment could not be delivered to you, because the monthly limit set by the provider bank for payments and/or number of transactions has been reached. These funds have been returned to the payer."/
2) My Bank says no transfer was initiated or rejected by Payoneer, and there is no limit to amount or transactions- So basically false
3) Now they say they returned money to sender (no true)
4) They say send amount in a smaller amount (see point 2, no such thing needed)
5)I have also seen that they have not blocked my account completely
I have not done anything wrong.
I am verified and up to date with their changes they never inform anyone off. A very badly run company or other reason I rather not say here

However, no matter what ATM I try i get the same answer "insufficient funds" even though I have 5 times more euros than the sum I requested to withdraw. Is it even possible to withdraw euros at an ATM if we previously converted all the dollars to euros?

Payoneer keep changing and delay schedule for rls my account and now reply cant give specific time frame to rls and no required any more doc from me and mention this action does means my account got any issue just a normal review.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Payoneer eventually replied but only after they saw my complaint on this site.
I tried contacting support but I cannot afford to wait two business days for thier response. That is ridiculous really. I need to make a withdrawal asap and I am so frustrated. I contacted them on all social media platforms but nothing helps.
I wish I could change from using this service provider. Zero customer care and assistance.

I receive global payments periodically. This is now the 2nd time my payment has been cancelled.
The reason provided is that my "card" is inactive. But I don't have a card and the account was last used late December, just more than 2 weeks ago.
Contact support is absolutely a nightmare.

Sent an email to their customer care team, in response they asked my verification documents and no response till date.
Verification process almost takes a week. Really poor customer service.

I get paid weekly into my NZD account. Then in Jan24, my payment gets cancelled.
I enquire with no response, until I post on Pissedconsumer. Then I get told that my NZD account was disabled with no reason given and no solution proposed. And I am also informed that the money was returned to sender.
After multiple emails, on why the money was not received in the senders account, I'm advised that it can take 7 - 10 business days.
I still do not have an active NZD account, so I can still not receive my money as before. And I will only know by end of the week if the money was actually returned to sender.
Useless company to trust your money to.
Preferred solution: I would like to have my NZD account reinstated by close of business on Monday 22 Jan, the cancelled payment paid into the reinstated account in the next 48 hours. I also want to know WHY it was deactivated and confirmation it will not happen again.

I have transferred an amount of 798 dollars from Payoneer into my bank account in Europe and I haven't received it in three months! They said they are doing the tracing and then they quit tracing my money without ever sending me a proof that they did this tracing in the first place!
They told me that I should contact the beneficiary bank and they can trace my payment. I contacted both the beneficiary bank and the intermediary bank and not only were they not able to help but they found the fact that Payoneer told me that the beneficiary bank should trace the payment RIDICULIOUS.
I asked to be re-funded by Payoneer and of course that didn't happen either. They just decided to close my case without the money arriving to me and they refuse tracing the money, so of course I consider this money stolen, and I of course wont stop till I get my money on my bank account or refunded on my Payoneer Account.
Please avoid this "institution" they are super un-reliable and not trustworthy!
