Lost Uniforms and business does not want to pay the full amount to replace them.

On Feburary 16, 2012 I went to pick up my work uniforms and the cleaners couldn't find them. A total of five pants, five shirts and one tie were lost by the owners of this business. The owner of the cleaners asked for more time to locate the uniforms and we gave them 2weeks. In the mean time I had to purchase new uniforms for work totalling in $447 to replace what was lost. They had us fill out an insurance form with the receipt of the uniforms, on March 3,2012 they informed us that they would not pay us the full amount to replace the uniforms that they lost. This was 100% the cleaners fault and should pay the entire amount for replacing the uniforms. This is something that they refuse to do. The total amount to replace the five uniforms is $447. Payless Cleaners abuses elder citizen

Payless Cleaners at 691 State Rd. in Emmaus wrecked our mother's dress. No big deal they should just pay for the dress. They admitted that they destroyed the gown, first they said they would pay to have it replaced. Months passed an no payment was made. Our mother who is 83 kept calling and was contstantly put off. Eventually they refused to replace the gown and offered only a small partial payment and said take it or leave it. Our mother was horrified. They were cold and uncaring. If she was younger she could take them to small claims court and they knew they had the advantage because of her age. Do not use this cleaner if you value your garments.
