Sign up started to notice negative amounts coming out of my checking account and they would not reimburse me I Finally CANCELLED WITH THEM STILL SEEING CHARGE COMING OUT.Stay away from this company.I might have to close down my checking account if these charges no not stop.They told me one set price and never kept to it. DO NOT use Paychex to process your payroll. Your data is not secure with Paychex! We have a small organization and when Paychex switched their system several months ago, the mailing addresses of several of our employees were suddenly changed to incorrect addresses. Kindly think twice before signup with Paychex for a service. Paychex representatives are very lazy and don’t do work. Only thing that Paychex do properly is collecting payments from client. Apart from that they don’t care about clients, ESR is one of the worst service offered by Paychex. They will take months by months to determine whether employer is an ALE or not? Beyond pissed. I've reached out to tech support for over 2 weeks now as I am locked out of my account. Each time I've called I've been put on hold for at least 40 minutes with no answer! Then I get an email telling me to get ahold of my payroll. I did. She sent me 8 links trying to make it so I can reset everything. I still can't. No one has helped me. Lovely. Read more

Worst experience with this company. They are very hard to get in touch with and cancel. There employees all play dumb and take no responsibilities. We have been trying to cancel and they keep ignoring us ant keep charging us

When I was hired I transferred my 401K from my old job to Paychex since that was what the new employer used. Paychex did not make the transferr when they received the check saying they couldn't "recognize" in spite of the fact that I used their form and included my SSN EIN and organization # for my employer with the check. We have been in touch with them for four months, trying to add new employees so that they can sign up for 401K. Have been in touch with Paychex 11 different times. They can never locate our company. Then we go through 90 minutes of password updating once they do locate us and still not able to add new employees. We are looking for a new provider. It's unbelievably bad... enough sad. Don't use them if you can avoid it. Average wait time is an hour. I'm actually trying to purchase something from Paychex and they still can't seem to answer the phone. I've left messages, etc. I've also tried to contact them to roll over a 401k.
