Resolved: Fraud

Updated by user May 10, 2024

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Mutual agreement

Original review May 03, 2024
I have been a victim of fraud, using Paul McCartneys picture and name, just got another text this a.m to Canada, would like to text with Paul over this problem?I want to explain that what happened to me, in the month of April, started with a PRIVATE MESSAGE TO MR. MCCARTNEY, WE , MEANING THIS GUY KNOWN AS GARY, started writing me aftercI requested that Mr.

McCartney text me, over the weeks, I told him, I would go to Edmonton to meet my daughter, and her husband, and my son Kevin. Kevin is the m7sician in my family. Chris sings, and Collin, my youngest is in a band too. This guy asked for 800 Canadian dollars in a cashiers cheque, I would then need this card to attend a meet and greet reception.

He said there would be prizes, and I'd meet people from all over. Then he asked for 2500 Canadian dollars to help Mr. McCartneys band financially. We began talking about Mr.

McCartneys family, he indicated, that after telling his family, Beatrice was skeptical. Then as time passed, I gave him my picture, my family background, and information about myself, Mr Mc Cartney, was going to meet me in Edmonton Canada, from there, we would go to England on Paul's plane for two weeks, I told him, that I was not a flamboyant person, don't like crowds, he also stated he would take me to Rome, and we could visit some beaches, it was more than evident that that it was a romantic scam, he sent me emojis, and kiss emojis, and thinking it was Paul, I explained how my partner and I were not getting along. My kids said, why would Paul care about you, and said it was a scam! I admit, I was flattered, I told him, I was going to Toronto, he texted me on my gmail, , before I left for Toronto, he asked for $2100 for a reason , I can't remember, suddenly a warning sign came up, saying stop texting, this Ron Gart 560, is a fraud, that saved me $2100.

The cashiers cheque was for his agent to send membership cards , she was in New York City, she cashed it. I think, that I was naive as to think Mr. McCartney would fall for me anyway, I'm not a model,,I don't like crowds, we exchanged romantic innuendo, I'm embarrassed to say, I made a total fool of myself, and am deeply, deeply sorry for any trouble , I have caused Mr. Mc Cartney, and truly believed, he was lonely, and wanting someone to share his life with, being honest, why would he care about me, when like I told Ron Gary , he could have any woman in this world, and that I just couldn't imagine a relationship with him.

This guy was so cunning, there's lots to admit to, but Mr. McCartney, I'm 75 years old, this Ron Gary was being used to hide away from public scrutiny, he said we would use this site for privacy, may I say, I was the fool in this whole debacle, yours truly Glenna Rosemarie Davey

Did you honestly think the real Paul McCartney was texting you???? And, with his $1.2 billion fortune, he was asking you for money?

Fake Paul McCartney FB and Twitter accounts

I received a reply to my email from webmaser@***.com and was told Paul would never send private messages and that his accounts have a blue check mark next to his name on his social media accounts. The imposter should be blocked and reported to the social media platforms!

I have blocked and reported him on Facebook! I am still getting messages on Twitter from the fake "Paul".

Original review updated Apr 18, 2024

Got caught up with a fake Paul McCartney on FB and Twitter and sent messages to each other but I was suspicious and I wrote to the real Paul McCartney's office. They thanked me and told me to report the fake accounts. The real accounts have a blue check mark next to his name.

Hi Paul! Someone has been sending me private messages on Twitter and FB messengers!

I just want to make sure it's not you but if it is you I'm sorry I was skeptical! I love your music and I have been a fan since I was about 13. I am now 74! And I just want to tell you that The Beatles have been my inspiration, my hope and my dream!

I had been writing poetry and letters to the editor of our local newspaper and some of my poetry had appeared in Anthologies, Poetry magazines, newsletters and local newspapers. I could tell you more but I really don't want to bore you to death!

Thanks for caring! Sincerely, Connie Casella

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I sent you a text at 212-313-**** saying it is URGENT! I was trying to purchase a PM VIP Fan Club ticket meet and greet package for Brazil Dec 9th concert.

I am unclear if this is a scam that I have been dealing with. Telling me the Package is $750 and an extra $200 for shipping the package to my home. Please help.

So far I have incurred $150.00 toward this VIP package. I have not received anything yet and want to make sure the person I talked with on line on a private Paul Mccartney site on Facebook is real.
