Grooming services
It really saddens me to have to seek out another place to get my dog Molly groomed..,I have been taking her here for several years...always happy with Molly’s grooming...I always requested Brendan...I took her there in June ...we were going on a vacation for a week...Molly was whining and miserable the whole time...I checked her all over...I found a nick on her behind...I ran out to get a antibiotic cream to heal it..,but the main reason I’m not taking her back there is ...the principal of not getting a call from Brendan stating that he was sorry...I had already messaged Tamela about the situation...her advice was for me to call Brendan to let him know what happened...in my opinion that is totally not my job..,it was her responsibility to tell him herself.

Heaven Scent / Patty's Angels
Once upon a time a woman named Tamela Ireland opened a dog grooming shop. Mrs.
Ireland barely passed grooming school according to the records she barely showed up to learn anything. Mrs. Ireland then though it would be a good idea to open a grooming shop of her own and make tons and tons of money. However, she quickly found out that’s not usually the case with small businesses.
Especially when you rip off other local grooming shops. Mrs. Ireland opened her itty bitty little grooming shop at 352 North Lapeer Road, Oxford MI 48371. She had this grandiose idea of charging much lower prices than any other groomer in the area while claiming to offer the same products and services.
After a couple of months of doing this Mrs. Ireland realized that owning and operating a business is a lot harder than one may think and decided to open up an UNACCREDITED GROOMING SCHOOL to help supplement her shops income. Not only did she BARELY pass grooming school she was now going to be an instructor to other hopefuls. Somewhere along the timeline she decided that her little grooming shop was just too small for her plans and she decided to move to the available space below Lake Orion Veterinary Hospital and opened up a doggy day care as well as keeping her grooming school.
For some reason shortly after her move her business started failing. She was producing subpar grooming and her grooming students were working on dogs with little to no supervision most of the time. (Dangerous? Yes.) One day she just disappeared into thin air.
The rumors had said that she ripped out her tubs at the vet and gutted the place clean before just vanishing. The vet had to put up a sign because ALL OF HER SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS FOR GROOMING WERE SHOWING UP TO LOCKED DOORS. (Unprofessional? Yes.) It was later revealed that she had been two months behind on rent and was just unable to make ends meet.
She was under scrutiny of providing terrible grooms that made other groomers CRINGE. She had a PENDING LAWSUIT for an animal that was injured in her care. She just wasn’t doing well overall. Instead of owning up to it like an adult she ran away like a child.
Now that she has bad remarks on her rental history she can no longer get a lease, HOWEVER her mother can. Enter Patty’s Angels. Located right back at 352 North Lapeer Road. Opening soon as soon as they get all the donations they REQUESTED to open their dishonest doors.
Bring this woman to justice and hold her responsible for everything she has caused and done. She does not deserve your trust in taking care of you pets AT ALL. Mrs. Ireland is not a decent GROOMER, BUSINESSWOMAN, OR PERSON at all.
I highly suggest you rethink your ideas or plans of spending money on her or her failing business plots. The End.

I love taking my Molly here...in the few years that she has gotten groomed there I was never unsatisfied with their work...I was always happy with my Molly's do...and Molly enjoyed the people there...

I find the above review unfair & filled with bitterness. Tammy Ireland loves animals and she has devoted her life to them.
She has been a patient and good teacher to her groomers and the loyalty I’ve seen to her groomers from their clients is proof that you can indeed trust Patty’s Angels with your fur babies. For their dedication, commitment, and fair prices I commend them all for not giving up. Unlike our “Anonymous” critic above; I proudly leave my name. Tiffanie Cariera.
Lake Orion, MI. I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback Pitbull mix so I am a dog owner myself. Please...try Patty’s Angels and judge for yourself before going off of 1 persons scathing review and get to know Pat, Tammy, and their grooming staff. Then at least you can make an informed decision.
Your dogs are treated with love & patience I assure you. No one hiding in back room yelling at your dog or being mean to it.
They all love animals there and they really do a good job. If something is not to your personal satisfaction speak up & again I assure you they’ll fix it immediately as they want happy clients who return again & again.
Treat others with the kindness and compassion you would want others to treat you.
This saddens my heart to hear people talk and treat others this way. Someone may have had a bad experience there but not every business is for every person so that is why there are many to choose from.
Do you feel that you have never had a customer that was unhappy with your services. Would you like to have them treat you the way you have treated this business...... i think not. I was HIGHLY recommended to Heavenly Scent and took my cherished dog there...
We had a bad experience elsewhere.... My Golden retriever was treated wonderfully. He had the best grooming he had ever received and we love them. We understand that they had a customer that held them responsible for a problem with there dog.
I'm sorry this person and there dog came away with a bad experience but it is not the NORMAL for this business. I was thrilled to hear that Patty's Angles opened so I can take my dog somewhere I TRUST.
A mean spirit will only get you a following of others who look for drama and unkindness. You are not going to hurt anyone but yourself in the long run.

Jaleesha- whatever are you even doing commenting on this groomer if you live in Savannah, Georgia? You are either a crony of the litigious person that sued her (a lot of people make their incomes that way - quite disgusting) or the identify is fictitious.
I would think anyone that sues someone “for a ligitimate reason” would back off after its settled. Seems you are just filled with hate or crazy to keep it up. By the way I have been taking my two dogs to Pattys and by far they are the Best groomers in the area. I am very picky about the treatment of my dogs as they are both rescues and deserve a good life.
I trust these guys with my dogs but you sound too angry - sounds like you have a problem. And its a little suspicious.
We drive from Holly to the "little bitty" building where they had to start the Grooming Business all over again because of a really lame law suit about her harming a dog's (hip joint) - this dog was groomed on a special padded area ON the floor, because extra special precautions are taken with 'special needs.' or elderly needs animals. My thought is that they moved to a larger facility so they could offer more more services (like doggie day care for those who needed it) and groom more dogs, because they're always booked solid.
My take on the above rant is it's the people who sued her, having seen that she "rented" a larger space, she must have pots of money' and decided to take it from them. We have 2 little dogs - one was rescued from a puppy mill after being abused for 8 years and wouldn't even let me pick him up or approach him for a while = he was THAT terrified of people. The groomer who groomed him when he was rescue has to shave him - because he was SO matted. So, we didn't have to worry about a groomer for him for about 6 months and he'd calmed down a bit, but still afraid of most people.
I took him to Heaven Scent because I know how gentle and kind they are. Our little dog went right into Tammy's arms - no problems at all. I do know they will NOT put up with any unkindness or shenanigans from their staff and they have fired at least one person on the spot after witness in them yanking on a lead and saying harsh things to a dog.
So, I also wonder if this angry person isn't a disgruntled employee. SHAME ON YOU.

People like that do have to pay for their actions against others! It’s really sad to run someone down as much as this person did!
The good thing out of this is, that if you have met Patty you already know the caring and lovable woman that she is!! Shame on people who shamed her!!
I took my dogs to the location in Oxford and had a bad experience. Like most people I thought maybe this was an anomaly so I gave them another try when they moved to Orion.
I asked for the first appointment of the day because one of my dogs has breathing problems. I was assured that my dogs would be done in an hour or so. When I didn't hear from them in about 90 minutes I called. I was told they would be done within 30 or so minutes.
I showed up 30 minutes later and was charged $100. My dogs had not even been bathed. I should mention they are toy poodles and usually take about 45 minutes to groom from top to bottom. I can't believe they stay in business.
When I asked my neighbors in Waterstone who they use for dog grooming they all cautioned me against Patty's Angels because it was run by Tammy Ireland. No need to tell me twice.
What a load of bs/misinformation and down right lies. Animals are treated well and loved there. I will follow Tammy Nd Patty anywhere with my pets.Shame on you for gossiping.
I love this place! Been going every 8 weeks for 3 years and NEVER had anything but kindness, care and excellent grooming.
My dogs are always happy! Some days it’s faster than others but I chalk that up to the fact that they take all the time necessary to keep my dogs ( and yours) calm so they can do a good job without mistreating my babies like some of the other groomers I’ve tried.
There are people out there always looking for something to complain about. Says a lot about their character.
My dog has always been happy there too! The place right in downtown oxford, was the one that was mean to my dog.
She even told me my dog was disobedient and never to bring her back, but not Patty, she loves my dog and never has a problem with her. Thank you , Patty's Angels!

How is she ripping off other groomers? To me, it's competitive business and they have the better price and service.
Dogs can't talk, but mine sure do wag their tails when I take them there.
