Patriot Bicycles
Really like a couple bikes. Was ready to drop around $1000.00 with the bikes, and helmets and so forth.
Not a lot for a bike shop, but a lot for us. The guy said we had to provide email address and phone number. Said I wasnt comfortable providing that. Employee said that anything with a serial number needed that information and all bike shops would require that.
It sounded suspicious, so I held off on the sale to check. Turned out to be a lie. When I confronted the owner, he gaslit me and said the employee never required that information. I LITERALLY WOULD HAVE LEFT WITH THE BIKES IF HE DIDNT.
My wife was right there and couldnt believe the owner gaslit me while she was next to me on the phone. Shady operators.
