Dear Sir/Madame. I visited Valerie Patisserie in Swindon outlet on Thursday the 22nd February.
I have visited your establishments on a number of occasions in a number of different locations and have always found them to be excellent, excellent food and excellent service. I am not a complaining person and it has taken me some time to write this to you, but I was so upset and would never return to your Swindon outlet establishment again. My husband and I decided to go shopping and have some lunch out as a treat as we are both retired. On arrival we were shown to our table and offered a menu. In due course a waitress and and took our order of 2 all day breakfasts and 2 hot drinks.
After a while the other side of separation decorative barrier I heard someone have a fall. All the customers in that area ran to their rescue as did the staff. After a short time they had escorted the person to another area and all appeared to be clear on the surface.Three drinks arrived first, but one was taken back, unfortunately only warm, but we drank them. Then only one meal turned up- I did go ask about mine, they told me only one was requested.
They did say they would cook a second, but we would have been eating on our own and not together. My husband said that he was struggling to eat his as it was only warm, the eggs were cold and the bacon had become crispy crumbs. At that point I did have a quit word in the waitress ear about it and she said that they had been sorting out the person who had had the tumble and everything was up in the air and that we wouldn't be charged for the meal. At that point we left the rest of the meal and went to pay for our hot drinks.
This is what really upset me most was while we were standing at the cash machine, I am assuming it was the manager from a distance in a very sharp voice, wavering her arm towards us and pointing to the exit, told us to just go, just go and get out and that they had been dealing with a crisis.I felt that it was all my fault, i felt that I had done something wrong. Had they had come up and said the kitchen had to close because of an emergency we would have understood and just left. But with the disappointment over the original order, the semi warm and cold food and then to be spoken too in that manner was really upsetting.
Never had I ever experienced anything like that in any of the many Valerie Patisserie establishments that I have visited. Sorry to have brought this to your attention.
Regards Lorraine Woods.

You should have let them make your food. It was kind of insensitive given what happened for your reasoning to be eating while the other wasn’t.
