Beware of patient advocacy non profit
- - The nonprofit is meant to advise people facing illness.
- - The caseworker was unreachable; messages left.
- - Fewer caseworkers handle large caseloads.
This non profit is supposed to advise people how to handle the many problems that arise when you're sick. I was assigned a caseworker who I was never able to speak to.
I called several times and each time I had to leave a message. The caseworker would call about every two weeks. One of the problems with this non profit is that there are too few caseworkers whose caseloads are much too large.
This is a case of a non profit making too much money and not spending it on employees. It's far too late now because my wife is dead.
