Did not do what I asked--bad service
I left my car at the Huntsville, Texas, location trusting that they would do what I asked. I have a front wheel drive car with bald tires on the front and almost bald on the back. My concern is that I am a home health nurse and I spend a lot of time driving country highways. I have been told that a blowout on the front can cause my car to flip. I purchased two tires which I asked them to put on the front. I also asked them to save my green valve stem covers as I like to keep nitrogen in my tires, but y'all could not do that. I at least wanted to have the covers to give to my nitrogen provider. When I picked up my car, I never thought that they would have done other than I asked, so I just drove it off without even looking at the tires. When I got home, my husband was furious because they had put the new tires on the back and, evidently, put the rear tires, which were less than perfect, on the front; thereby putting me at risk again. When I called the store and spoke to Scott, the manager, he told me they "always" put the new tires on the back. When I told him they should have told me that when I purchased the tires, he just apologized. As I thought about it more, I just got madder. I called him back to let him know that I would not be back there and that I would tell everyone at my home health agency about them. He then offered to pay for one $72 dollar tire if I would buy one more. He then told me it would cost me $139 for one tire. That sounds like the guy that sold me the first two. I told him I wanted 2 $72 tires and he offered me a "deal" on 4--$561! Never mind what I told him. Do you really think I should pay $60 for balancing 2 tires that I had not planned on buying until next month, but had to buy now because your people were not honest about their policy, but now I have to buy them to keep me safe? By the way, they also got my name wrong--they put Georgia London on my warranty papers, but they did change it in the computer to Gerorgia Williams which is correct. Sincerely, still Pissed
