Pat Peck Nissan Mobile, Al

Charged $129 for estimate. Failed to give me a written one when I went in to pick up my truck. Even thou I asked. Guess they did not want proof of the crazy amount they wanted to charge me.Said the catalytic converters had failed and wanted $7500 to replace them. Sent me to parts department were they gave me a $5500 parts estimate when I questioned them about why they were replacing all four cats and sensors and every nut bolt and washer possible in the exhaust system they claimed their mechanics demanded they price it out that way. Sounds like mechanics are paid on percentage to me. I found new magnaflow cats with gaskets for $415 and new O2 sensors $250 reused the bolts/nuts and did the work myself in a couple of hours. Really sad that a dealership is charging $2000 labor for a couple of hours work. NISSAN SHOULD PULL THEIR DEALERSHIP! Tested system and rear cats are fine it only needed front cats and sensors. O2 Sensor had failed at 104000 miles. I also installed new spark plugs. Less than $800 total in parts. I expect to pay more at a dealer, heck I can live with 100% more but not 700% this is theft. PS, my check engine light had only been on for two days. If you have a frontier STOP if the check engine light comes one, bad O2 sensor can get costly really quick.

Pat Peck Nissan - Staff Review from Ridgeland, Mississippi

The only reason I went to pat peck nissan was because a childhood friend's dad was the manager. The sales person he gave me was ok but after the sale he pretty much didn't care. I work in sales so I know how it works. He wasn't helpful when it came to my tag papers I had to call and figure it out myself after calling him and texting him numerous times to ask what was the deal with my paper work which could've easily been handled with one question. Following up with your customer is extremely important and he did a terrible job at it. Not to mention 3 weeks later and my recommendation still has not seen her little bonus for recommending me after he said it would only be two weeks. My next car will NOT be from him.

Seat belt buckle digging into the facing of the door. Nissan says they can't fix it.

When the seat belt is unfastened, the buckle hits the facing around the door and digs into it. Service department says they have never seen that before...can't help me. Service manager same thing, can't help me. So, I'm stuck with a brand new car (less than a year old) and the door facing is getting hacked up by the seat belt buckle and no one can do anything about it. I bought the car at Pat Peck Nissan in Gulfport Mississippi. I talked to one of the managers named Bryan. He suggested I use rubber bands to keep the seat belt from hitting the side of the door facing. June Gautier

Has given me the run around since I bought my car.

I went to pat peck nissan in gulfport, MS to trade in my car. They told me I was financed and I did a bunch of paperwork and drove off with my new car. After having it a month I started getting collection calls for my old car that they took. I didn't recieve how to pay for my new car. I contacted the dealership. Call after call was sent to voicemail that nobody returned. I finally got a hold of a human being only to be told I was financed and the paperwork was lost. So I had to come back down and try again. After doing the paperwork several times they finally had me financed. A week later I recieved checks and account information in the mail. What they failed to tell me was in order to be financed they had to set up a bank account and take the payments automatically out of that. So I had to rush to the bank and transfer my payment to that account before bouncing that account. About a year later I was in a car accident and my car was totaled. I called them to say I needed my gap information to get my car payed off. They stated I needed to cancel my gap poilicy first to get them to pay. I went to the dealership to do just that. When I got there the girl mentioned if I cancel my gap they won't pay on my car. After talking to management they stated I needed to cancel my warranty. So I filled out that paperwork and gave it to them. I waited and car didn't get paid. Called they said they have nothing to do with that its an outside company. So I called that company and they did what they could. That company stated it was now up to the dealership to finish their part. Dealership claimed they don't do that. Then they said they do and I needed to fill out paperwork. they sent me the same paperwork I already filled out. Once again it was lost. Now they say it will take 6-8 weeks to be paid. Crash was in April here it is July and no payment. Car payment is now in default which means I can't get a new car till they decided to pay. I am beyond mad at the lack of service and the fact they "Lose" paperwork like a child claims a dog ate their homework. I refuse to ever deal with this company again!
