I have heard nothing from Passport, and efforts to contact them by other means have failed. I wopndere whether they are still in business.
I am not sure that anyone at Passport has read my query. I have heard nothing from anybody, which is extremely disappointing and so frustrating. Does Passport LLC still exist even?

Verified ReviewerRegistration problems
- - Encore 5.0.4.875 prompts for registration every time.
- - Longtime user with 40 years of .mus files; seeks a fix or ideas.
I am using Encore 5.0.4.875, and have had it for a couple of years or more. Every time I use it, I have to enter my Registration number anew.
Every time. I am getting really fed up and annoyed with this, and it needs to be sorted out soon.
The trouble is, all my files for the last 40 years have been .mus files, a so I am committed to be a life long adherent, more faithful than the program is beginning to deserve. Anybody with a bright idea?

After sales service
- - No reply from Passport support after May 6 and a May 19 reminder.
- - Worry about reinstalling Encore and paying 236 euros if help is unavailable.
How is it possible that since I sent a message on May the 6th to Passport (on the right adress: support@***.zendesk.com) and a reminder on May the 19th , I hear completely nothing? It makes me think that Passport doesn't exist anymore??
And I fear the moment that once (f.e. after a re-installation) I can't re-installate my Encore and that I have payed 236 euro for nothing!!
Please answer me, the contactperson in the Netherlands cannot help me.
(What do you mean with 'More details is too short (minimum is 100 words)??? I repeat to get enough words (!):

Lack of support
- - Registered Encore user; I sent six support emails with no reply.
- - Reinstalling, the program freezes; I can't use it, and the company went bankrupt.
I'm a registered user of the music notation software called Encore from Gvox. I've written more than six emails trough the site support area, as far as I know the only channel available, with no answer.
For this reason I'm not able to use the program because after reinstalling the program freezes. They used to answer fast. It never took that long to have a solution. I'm a professional musician and all my scores were written with this software.
For this reason I'm having a serious trouble with my work.
Until now I was very satisfied with the program and its support. It seems that the company went bankrupt

I also have not heard from either John Miller nor Richard Hotchkiss for years and have many open technical requests with absolutely no replies. I know one of them was fighting cancer as he told me that on the phone.
I can't remember which one. I suspect he has since passed away. Where that left the company is unknown. I wish Finale, Allegro, G7- http://www.finalemusic.com or Sibelius - http://www.sibelius.com would take it over and merge it with theirs.
As of this point we are all on our own as I fear the company is tied up in probate or other legal matters. It would be morally right for someone that is or was involved in the company to at least publicly announce what has happened and where Encore stands. They had a very nice easy to use software for novice and pros alike.
Too bad it is no longer an option for us. Brian

Gvox no longer owns Encore Music Notation Software, Passport Music Software, LLC does. Passport Music Software offers complete technical support through our website, www.passportmusic.com. Please contact us through our support page and we would be happy to assist you.

I heard nothing till now!I repeat my question: why can't I get an answer? Do you still exist as a person (I see your name in very old messages of clients), as a bussiness? Please let me know! Why do you give a standard answer tot complainers instead of taking action after all my questions?Do you have control of your own support-office?Questions, questions...
Richard, that was in 2013. I have heard nothing since 2015!
