Give me my refund partstore.com!

Placed an order for oven thermostat- the part received wasn't even close to the part number ordered. Received a return number, & followed directions as posted on website to get a refund. Was told by the representative that it would be 1-2 cycles before receiving my refund, once the part was returned. When asked what a cycle was I was told it was 1-2 weeks. Waited 2.5 weeks after they had received the part back & called to check on my refund & was told a cycle is actually 30-60 days. I really can understand a 1-2 week wait, but 30-60 days! I paid for my order in a timely manner & would expect to get my refund in the same timely manner. It is total BS to have to pay for their mistake & them to have an interest free loan.

Stole my Credit Card numbers committed fraud

Best Buy Complaint: This complaint involves PartStore.com. which is part of Best Buy. I ordered parts from their site at 1-86*-933-**** with follow upa as to when the rest of my parts would arrive. Nearly 3 weeks later I was informed that the most critical part of my order was no longer available. I was informed by my credit card company that it appeared my credit card account was comprised and that unauthorized purchases were attempted. (same area TEXAS). My attempts to talk to a supervisor at PartStore.com were fruitless. What a run around I got. DO NOT MAKE PURCHASES from this establishment.

Partstore.com ripped me off

I purchased a part for my father-in-law's wine cooler from partstore.com. When I opened up the package I immediately noticed it was the wrong part. I called them up and, after verifying the part number with other sources, ordered the right part about an hour later. I received the return UPS paperwork and label on the same day I received the new part which was also brand new, it fit and there are no issues with it. I then returned the brand new, unused, first part and waited for weeks to get a refund that never came. Instead, I received a used and broken board along with a letter stating they couldn't refund my money because the part had already been installed. I never did anything with the first part because it was obvious it was the wrong board as the connectors did not match. My question is was it a scam of convenience as in I returned a part that they had a broken version of or if their website steered me to order a part they had a broken version of so they could rip me off. For the first time in the history of my credit card I am disputing the charges.

Partstore.com Very poor customer service!

Ordered a bottom rack for my Frigidaire dishwasher from Partsore.com. It came to me defective. Email to help@***.com to get return/replacement with no response after a week. Tried calling, but no one answered and no option to leave voice mail. After I complained to my credit card co. I did hear from parstore via email. The email instructed me to call them. I was on hold for a full 20 min before I spoke with a real person. She told me that I would be sent a new part and a slip to ship the defective part back. After six weeks of waiting and back and forth emails, I was credited for the defective part. No new part has been received. Recommend: do not do business with these people. How much aggravation does one need? Jane

Do not order from part store sells defective parts and will refuse to replace them

This company makes it extremely hard to reach them regarding anything other then new orders. I ordered a replacement lamp for my Toshiba television on October 9, 2010. Two months later my TV starts to turn off and on by itself, so I go back to the partstore.com website only to find out that the store number has been removed. I send and email and someone responds with the following message: Dear XXXXXX, You can contact us @ 866-925-****. Thanks, Partstore.com The number listed above is the same number that is attached to the receipt when you receive your order. When you call this # there's a prompt that says the number is being used for new sales only and if you have an issue refer to the website for the email address. I stayed on the line for new sales only and there's a lady named Johanna on the other end that says she is the only one that answers calls, the only one to speak to about orders and that the only other person that works there is in the finance department. Johanna also answers the emails too. I finally had a chance to speak with her after holding for at least 30 -45 minutes. I thought that the company shut down when I made several attempts prior to that day. My issue was not to receive any money only to receive another part and let them deal with the manufacturer regarding the defects of the one I had. She refused to address it since I was a day late and a dollar short of my luck o having enough patience to reach someone... Mean while I have an inoperable TV and a bank account shy of $149.41!

Poor customer service

I ordered a battery for a cell phone. After ordering I decided to get a new cell phone so returned the battery from Partstore when it arrived. I included in the return - the invoice, the battery and a letter from me stating that I no longer needed the battery. I also emailed the company. I received an email asking me to call return dept. I did so and was told I needed a return number. I got the number and emailed it to the Partstore. Apparently the are so inept that they could not match up the returned battery with the return number even though all had my name on it. So I was out the $30.00 plus shipping. Bad organizational skills and terrible customer service. Don't do business with them.

PartStore.com total waste of time!

I ordered a replacement T *** board for a Samsung LCD TV that I was repairing from PartStore.com. The part was listed as in stock. I ordered the part on Sunday evening through their website, despite reading dozens of bad reviews about the company. The board was discontinued by the Samsung, and I figured I had to get it from whoever still had one in stock. 2 weeks went by and I still hadn't recieved a shipping confirmation email from PartStore.com. I clicked the link in their email only to find their website was down, and it continued to be down for the rest of the week, along with no answer at their call center, only a message asking me to please call back during normal buisness hours. I even emailed their customer service department trying to figure out what was going on. After doing more research on the web I found several people saying that partstore was going out of buisness. 2 weeks later, a month after I placed the order I got an email from partstore explaining that they had a "signifigant disruption of service, and that my order had been cancled". What a joke, I ordered the same board from searspartsdirect.com and recieved it in the mail a week later. Now the TV is fixed, but the owner is pretty pissed about how long it took to fix, and guess who ends up looking bad, me. I have now noticed PartStore.com is back up, and I would suggest staying away from these clown shoe jokers.

I returned an item UNOPENED within 3 days (which fit with their policy). They replied that their warehouse said the part was installed.

After fighting to get an explanation of HOW the part could have been installed, and getting an admission finally that the part was returned unopened and my money would return, they have shut down their customer service phone line and have no responded.Even though I've lost $182, there is a large number of people who have been ripped off from this store.

Someone has to stand up for us. If you or anyone you know has been ripped off by Partstore, you can join a burgeoning a class-action lawsuit by writing an email to PeopleVsParstore@***.com.

I ordered a piece of glass for my fridge and partstore.com sent the wrong glass not once, but twice! Now they refuse to refund my money!

All of their customer service agents are rude. Do not use partstore.com, they are thieves!

PartStore.com is a huge ripoff!! I Ordered a replacement faceplate assembly, they sent the faceplate only...Rec'd confirmation on "new" correct order to be shipped 11/3 from thier wearhouse....still waiting...And, the telephone number plays the same *** recording that they are closed, call back during regular business hours!! When pray tell is that??!! When you go to your email to check on the status of the order the website says "oops, we have a broken connection" and gives you a list of other websites to choosew from that have nothing to do with their company.

Pissed Off Customer

I ordered a projection lamp from Partstore on 10/29/2010 with the understanding it would take 5-10 days to ship. They took the money from my bank account on 11/04/2010, and returned the item back to their company on 11/10/2010 without ever calling me. I'm so angry and I will never do business with them again. I will be calling them tomorrow to have a refund put back to my account. Me and my children are so disappointed that we cannot watch tv, and this has only added to the delay. Signed, another pissed off customer.

Partstore.com -- don't go there

I broke the platter on my panasonic microwave. There were many places to go on the web to buy one. I picked partstore.com because their web site looked professional. They sent the wrong size platter. I tried to call their 800 line. Waited over 20 minutes, gave up. Sent an email with all details. Got email back saying only way to get RMA number was to call. Waited 20 minutes a second night. No luck. On a hunch, I chose the option to buy a new part. got thru in less than five minutes. salesperson put me back at the start of the cue. don't go there

Partstore.com horrible customer service

So I needed a part to repair an electric range. An oven heater at that. I started at Fridgedaire's website, the mfg of the oven, and was forwarded to Partstore.com for help. I found the part I needed, it was $15. I paid the extra money to have the part 2nd day to me. The order was placed on a Saturday night, so I was not expecting the part to ship until Monday or Tuesday, getting me the part by Thursday the latest. I call partstore.com Tuesday morning and was instructed that my part was on back order and that it may take upto 10 days before the part ships. I could not wait that long and cancelled my order immediately. Left the house and went and bought a new range for the house. After I get it installed, I sit down to the computer to check emails. I got 3 from Partstore.com. 1 saying the order was cancelled. 1 saying that the part shipped and 1 saying that they could not cancel my order because the PART SHIPPED THE PRIOR DAY!!!!!! In that email, I was told that once I receive the part, that I may call to have it returned and credited. I receive the part. I do not open it as I do not need it since I don't have an oven for it. I call Partstore.com to have them send me a UPS pick tag (they shipped it to me UPS) and I was told that I would have to ship it back AT MY EXPENSE. Now this is only a $15 dollar part but it is kinda large. So it would probably cost $6-$10 to ship it to them thus giving me back maybe $5.00. Not worth the expense of driving to a shipping store, waiting in line, and losing X amount of time out of my day. So I am going to keep the part. Partstore.com was informed that I was going to do a write up online about my experience with no effect from them. Partstore.com has lost any future business from me and any friend, family, or other person that needs help looking for parts for home appliances. If you as a consumer are going to use Partstore.com, please be aware that there warehouse is completely separate from their customer service department and they are not linked with proper information. You can only talk to customer service, so you will never know really what is happening with your order until UPS has it in their hands. I own a service company that repairs Medical equipment and I order parts from several different vendors weekly. I have never been treated in the manner that Partstore.com has treated me nor have I ever NOT KNOWN what was going on with my order. Thank you for reading and spread the word. Future business be sent to Marcone.

Legal action needs to be taken against the parts store in every state they screw people. In decades of online purchasing they are the worst company I have ever dealt with in all facets of their company, shipping defective parts, not following through, quadruple billing for one item even after they were advised they kept pulling money out of my account, phone staff, online staff that are cluless, negative customer service to the nth degree.Don't let them *** like so many others.Do not deal with them and tell everyone you care about not to deal with them also. They are a plague that needs to be wiped from the face of the earth for the benefit of the masses.

I was going to order a board for my tv, but i was like let me check some reviews and that what i found. You guys should get hold with the representative and smack him so many times so he she maybe wakeup

HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE. DON'T EVEN BOTHER ORDERING FROM THESE PEOPLE.

Guest

I ordered a part for a dryer.$55.00 it cost me ,customer service said i cannot get a refund because when we hooked it up and it didn"t work the part is now considered used!I'm contacting the better buisness bureau. The part didn't work so it may have been defective. All I know is I'm out $55.00.Don't buy from that website. We had to learn the hard way.

Guest

The customer experience is the the worst I have found in my life, no accountability, no followup, defective parts and none to take care of customers once they have paid.

They sent me 1 filter, instead of 2 and even the filter I got is damaged. I call these guys and follow up for 3-4 months.

Every time I call them I get an answer saying someone will call me in 3-4 business days and no one calls or follows up.

Finally I get an email from partstore asking me to call the 1866 number and they will take care of my order. When I call them back, it the same story, they have no instruction on what to do, fed uo with these guys.

Guest

Triple billed for a oven ignition switch, caught immediately and called. Told it would take 1-2 days to get the reversal, checked next morning and was told 3-4 days.

This has resulted in over drafts, and cancelling my credit card so they could not remove more $s from my account, (used my debit card which I could not stop payments on). I am a disabled mother with a child with Autism and EDS and this has caused great stress for me.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE. If there are any suggestions out there, please advise!!!

Guest

Customer service? Have they heard of it?

Placed an order 8/17/11.

Received email stating it will ship 8/28/11

Checked on the order 8/30/11 and saw that it is backordered.

I call their number, 8/30/11, and the rep says he will send in a request to their "response team" as to when the item will ship and I will hear back in 24-48 hours.

9/8/11, no response so I call again. Rep now says that requests are "actually like 5-7 business days. That's if the request was sent off like it was supposed to."

Ok, canceling the order. This takes the rep 5 minutes of typing as I hear what sounds like a party in the background. Amazing.

Now I get the line that if it ships before the cancellation goes through then I'll have to make a request for a return. When I question this, I get a guarantee from "Sasha" that it will be canceled and that I won't be charged.

Here's hoping. What a nightmare of a company.

Guest

DO NOT order from this website!!!!!!!! Their customer service sucks and the parts are defective.

I have been trying for a month to get my money back or a replacement bulb for a flat screen tv. The one that was sent lasted 3 weeks.

The PartsStore.com will send you defective equipment, keep your money and you will never get the problem resolved. So unless you have extra money, want the frustration and still have a broken whatever--Go somewhere else!!!!!!
