PartsMarket.com sold me a bad engine

On 7/18/18, I purchased an engine through PartsMarket.com. for $2767.67 for my son's car.

I paid my mechanic $2,000 to install the engine. My mechanic wrote up a detailed inspection of the engine stating that the engine was bad. On 8/7/18, my son and I contacted PartsMarket.com and spoke with JP and Ray regarding the engine we received from them. Ray told us we would have to pay to have the engine removed as well as pay for shipping it back to them in order to get a refund.

It’s going to cost another $2,000 to have the engine removed and then $300 for shipping. That adds up to $2300 and I paid $2,767.67 for the engine. Not much of a refund for a bad engine sent to me from PartsMarket.com.

I paid a total of $4,767.67 for a bad engine. The resolution I’m seeking from PartsMarket.com is that they pay to have their bad engine removed, pay for shipping it back to them and give me a full refund of $2,767.67.
