I have a new F637****V, and I am pleased with it. But I have used the remote to set the fan on the slowest speed by repeatedly using the down arrow.
The first day I used it, the slowest speed was great and very quiet. Yesterday, I tried to set it again on the slowest speed, and the fan went faster than the day before, and it was noticeably less quiet. Today, I used the remote and set the fan on the slowest speed, and it worked like the first day and was very slow and noiseless, which I wanted. Am I doing something wrong?
Does this depend on how long you hold the down button on the remote?
