Variatiion in speed of fan with remote

I have a new F637****V, and I am pleased with it. But I have used the remote to set the fan on the slowest speed by repeatedly using the down arrow.

The first day I used it, the slowest speed was great and very quiet. Yesterday, I tried to set it again on the slowest speed, and the fan went faster than the day before, and it was noticeably less quiet. Today, I used the remote and set the fan on the slowest speed, and it worked like the first day and was very slow and noiseless, which I wanted. Am I doing something wrong?

Does this depend on how long you hold the down button on the remote?

Asking about wiring for ceiling fan

I purchased a fan ( item No. F826****V).

It is a ceiling mount and I need the wiring for a hanging fan, since it was purchased for a vaulted ceiling. My question is can I purchase the wiring for a longer pole, I already have the pole.

Some one has to do better in tracking packages. This is what customers look for to a least get some kind of timeline.i have workers that are finished with the job, but need the ceiling fan to complete the project. I have nothing that I can tell them, because no one knows, not Home Depot, not the Vendor or Parrot Uncle.
