Parma Animal Hospital

I took my happy, healthy 7 year old dog to Parma Animal Hospital with a minor sprain. They sedated her without my permission and further injured her to the point that she could not even stand. They kept saying they did not know what was wrong, but this happened in the 5 minutes it took to pay the bill. They know exactly what happened-they are the only ones that had control of her, but would not admit to how they hurt her. Then they called the day after xmas to say she was dead. No reason given. A sprained leg should not end in death except for the negligence of a coward and careless vet. To add to my pain they called a month and a half after her death about the bill I was disputing with my credit card company. The office worker then said "Oh by the way, what do you want us to do with your dog's body?" All that time they had her and not on person in the entire animal hospital could call and tell me? What were their motives for keeping her body that long? Makes me sick to think about it. The vet board found them guilty of in humane treatment, unsanitary conditions, not meeting vet standards and more and only fined them a lousy $500. A slap on the wrist. A vet license should not be a license to kill! Write to the vet board to impose greater punishment for these in humane pet hospitals and vets. Our companion animals are live, breathing beings that feel the pain these butchers put them through. Only with stiff and substantial penalties will this stop!!!! Vets are getting away with murder and depriving owners of the truth and covering up so we can't save our own companion animals from immoral veterinary care. Then they are only getting a slap on the wrist in penalties, basically endorsing their bad behavior and encouraging it to continue. Losing a beloved family member like this-the heartache never ends!

here' s what the vet board says about parma animal hospital (A) In the conduct of the person's practice does not conform to the rules of the board or the standards of the profession governing proper, humane, sanitary, and hygienic methods to be used in the care and treatment of animals; (Y) Fails to maintain medical records as required by rule of the board; They fail in SO many ways. They have no consideration or caring about your pets or the owners. You will certainly have your heart broken by this callous group-but they don't care. They continue to practice and "think" but never "know" what is wrong with your animal. They keep practicing and just can't get it right. They should be named Parma Guesswork Animal Hospital. It's a shame how many have to suffer at their hands. They really should just shut the place down-do everyone a favor. Save your pet-don't use Parma Animal Hospital!

Whoever wrote if you want to keep your animals alive-don’t take them to Parma Animal Hospital was “dead” on. The state veterinary board and found them to have multiple violations and my personal experience can back that up. I have been reading reviews about PAH that go back years and their practice of killing healthy, defenseless animals seems to be a pattern. Worse yet-the whole staff conspires to cover it up-not one honest one among them. When you ask the vet why your pet died in their care-he just says I “think” this and I “suspect” that-he doesn’t ever say he “knows” anything. Just what you want-a vet that doesn’t KNOW ANYTHING. The truth is they know what killed your pet-they did. The entire staff is old and so are their procedures, equipment and treatments. They are all out-dated and prove to be a risk to any pet brought there. Don’t take your pet there and risk having them killed. You can’t protect them once they are in the hands of these heartless dinosaurs. You will just be left with a sick feeling knowing you took them there for help and instead lost them forever because of these twisted, cruel animal killers. If you or if you know of anybody who has had a pet killed or harmed by Parma Animal Hospital, encourage them to write the state veterinary board. They must be stopped before they claim more victims! These idiots won’t do the right thing and just shut down, so maybe enough complaints will do the job. They want to hurt as many pets and their owners as possible. This place is pure evil-don’t ever take a pet here.

My Story-Pass it On-Save Lives…… On 12/23/12 I took my dog to Parma Animal Hospital after she slipped on tile and pulled a muscle in her back leg. She was a happy, healthy 7 year old with a sore leg. I took her and they said I would have to leave her for x-rays. They neglected to inform me or get my permission to sedate her for the x-rays. I only found out when I called later that day when I called to pick her up and they said I couldn’t because she wasn’t’ out of the sedation. Called next day, they said I could pick her up. Went in, first thing they presented to me was the bill which I paid with my credit card. Only after the bill was paid did they allow me to see her. Shock is an understatement. She was completely paralyzed and crying. I asked why, and Dr. Tulodzieski said he didn’t know why. He’s the vet-he’s supposed to know. I’m sure he knew-because he was responsible for what happened to her. He dragged her out with a towel around her belly like a sack of potatoes and said she couldn’t go home. The day after Xmas he called and said she was DEAD! I asked why and how my 7 yr old baby could die from a sprained leg? He just kept dancing around an answer saying she was a nice dog, they all liked her etc. Again-total shock. He said they had a service that would take care of her body. After the shock lessened I thought of why he wouldn’t give me a legitimate cause of death-because he screwed up and he killed her. This is also why he wanted to get rid of the body so quickly and have this service take care of it. I saved her from a shelter, couldn’t save her from her own vet. I disputed the charge with my credit card company-I wasn’t going to pay for them to kill my baby. The office lady, Peg, called on ago 2/11/14 and wanted to know why I was disputing the charge. I explained why and got no argument-verification they know they killed her. Then she said, Oh by the way, what do you want us to do with her body? OMG! I was told way back on 12/26/13 the service they use was taking care of her by Vet Dr Tulodzieski. They have had her there all this time and could not pick up the phone to notify me? They kept saying they knew how special she was to me-how could they think I would leave her there all this time? It was because of yet another lie of Dr. T. How cruel-of the whole staff. Not one person had the decency or compassion to pick up the phone and call me-not until money was involved. None of them are even human. What have they been doing with her all this time-experiments, using body parts? I would put nothing past this sick group. Every one of them has lied from beginning to end. These bad vets give all the vets a bad name. Not only did they kill my baby, but then retained her body for an unnecessary amount of time without my knowledge. Then they wanted to know if I wanted to see her dead, decomposed body after all this time. More salt in the wound. Not only are they displaying lack of morals, but lack of health care issues.
