Awesome experience
I love this theater, it is such a unique place with friend staff and an owner who introduces the movie with helpful info that we need. They are showing first run movies but they seem to be keeping them longer. And they have a luxury auditorium with recliners. And to top that off, there's a fancy dresssed door man who greets you and then holds the door for you when you leave. Who does that nowadays? Only the Parkade Cinemas!

I purchased two tickets and was offered a pakage price with popcorn and a drink one small one large when we got to the counter they told my daughter see couldn't get a slushy with a small combo pack . i asked to pay the difference the said I couldn't . A cheap ticket price is about all you will get here . Hope you don't end up with a problem . The manager on duty cannot resolve problems only recite policies . The owner was not in . Made for a stressful night out all over 1.00 . When I emailed the cinema I received this in response I'm guessing it was the same manager responding and not the owner since the was no mention of who responded. "Sorry to hear about your unpleasant time at Parkade cinemas . Keep in mined our signs for our combos are displayed right at the box office and it says clearly what you get with the sm,med, and large combo. We can not explain to each and every customer in detail everything we offer that would take to much time , that is why it is posted! We do not allow our employees to except the difference in money if  customers change there mined or didint know, because there drawer will be off in the amount that is rung in and they are responsible for there drawer when it is there shift. There is a reason for everything we do at Parkade cinemas, We try to give our customers the best prices and customer service we can but can not please every one. " I can sure complain on a lot of sites about this company over a buck .

This is a great theater. They are family-owned, and the meagre profits they make stay in CT instead of going to a billionaire CEO in Texas. Why do you decide to spend your time complaining all over the internet for one dollar, instead of spending your time trying to make the world a better place?
I have been going to this cinema for years and have always been treated well. The employees are very nice and courtious, and the place is always very clean.
Multiple e-mails sent back and fourth with owner each starting with I'm sorry then snide or condescending remarks followed appolegies . I refused the offer of two free tickets .
The owner doesn't see this issue as a problem .We shall no longer do business , No problem for me . I lost nothing over this , still saw the movie .
