I would like to know the shipping charges on $75.00 worth of seeds only, to zip code 14424. I have never ordered from Park Seed but have read that the shipping charges are exorbitant.
Please do not list me as an unhappy customer.

Deceptive practice - $2.99 shipping if ordering only seeds
- - Online order had a $20 upcharge and Hawaii shipping was $2.99.
- - I was satisfied with Park Seed before, but I will not order again.
When I tried ordering online an upcharge of $20 was added to my bill. So I called to try to place my order and was told the $20 upcharge was added on to the shipping of $2.99 because I live in Hawaii.
That is an over charge.
I was only ordering 3 pkts.of seeds.
I have ordered from Park Seed before and have been satisfied with the seeds and service. However, I will no longer be ordering from Park Seed.

- - Park family sold it and started another seed business.
- - Shipping high: $9 for one packet plus a $1 fuel surcharge and poor service.
This is not the same family owned and operated park seed company but once was -apparently the Park family sold it and opened a different seed company under another name.
Initial issue arose because not only does this company surprise you after you place your order even if it one or two packets of seed, with a fuel surcharge, despite the astronomical shipping fee, they after order was placed charge your credit card as mine was for MORE sales tax, first claiming it was PayPal, not them, then saying as their website states estimated.I had wanted to return my one mere packet of seed after being flat out lied to by the customer service agent stating she will credit me the difference, which I never was, then months ago Jarrod assured me I need not return my one seed packet order yet once again nothing replied nor credited.
This alleged reputable company also shows on their website a promo code of 20%, you apply it but nothing is ever taken off, there now during the summer absolutely no customer service on the phone to speak to as the recording when phoning tells you there is none-no one replied via live chat nor replied to emails,

Normal first class shipping
Then find they are padding your little made in good faith order with a one dollar fuel surcharge, for what? There is no one working there !
Offsite is getting my dollar and increased surprise surprise, more taxes padded after the order was first placed?

Terrible Customer Service
- - Ordered Portabella Kit but got Button Kit; they ignored my notice.
- - I will not buy from Park Seeds or sister companies; my review was unpublished.
I ordered a Portabella Mushroom Kit and instead they sent me a less expensive Button Mushroom Kit. Since I notified them of the problem, they have completely ignored me.
I've dealt with Park Seeds and some of their sister companies for quite awhile, but never again. The review I left on their website has gone unpublished.
