Downright disgusting customer service. Problem 1: While signing paperwork, found a 1000 dollar mistake. Whether incompetence or underhandedness, it was unacceptable. It was fixed. Moving on.... Problem 2: called 2 weeks after to speak to my salesguy. He was busy with a customer and I was told he'd call back. Never called back. Spoke to sales manager a couple days later and informed of same. Moving on still...... Problem 3: Asked them to TRANSFER a registration from my old plate. After title and transfer, should only cost around 90 bucks total. They called twice for my old plate number and after that, even asked for it via text and I sent it. They got me a new registration and plates. Over 300 bucks. Was told they'd straighten it out in the morning but tried to push me on the phone to take the new plates. Its damn near impossible to get ANYONE to do their jobs anymore. __________________ Update: my temp plate has expired. Spent 38k on a car I can't drive because of their mistake. Still no plates and no money back. Paramus Hyundai is a den of thieves. Don't say you weren't warned UPDATE: still do not have my registration issue resolved yet. No new temp plate, either. I spoke to Brittany at the dealership today (thursday 10/15), she promised a return phonecall "within the hour". Its 114 AM I'm fairly certain I'm not getting a call back from her. Why are callbacks at this dealership next to impossible to get? Forget the plates for a minute, I was outright lied to. A callback "within the hour, just as soon as the girl that handles the DMV stuff gets off lunch" means I should have at least been called back before close of business. How long is this DMV paperwork persons lunch break? 3 days? I called initially to speak with Eric, who seemed very interested in resolving this fairly with me. Brittany intercepted the call then put me on the pay no mind list. What I'm hearing loud and clear is "GO AWAY WE DON'T WANT YOUR BUSINESS". Can SOMEONE call me back tomorrow (Friday 10/16)? I don't care who, just someone from your organization with some semblance of duty to customer service please return my call. It can be the janitor at this point for all I care. If you don't hand deliver and photo document their employees receiving documentation from you, they'll claim they never got it. 2 separate emails to the same inbox, one arrived and one didn't. They need to kill the email gnome running around deleting emails over there because it's *** customers off. As of today, my car is still not registered. I'm NEVER going to pay for someone else's mistake, especially after their document guy told me "that's just the way it's going to be". Update 10/28. My registration is cleared to my original plate. The problem is fixed, but apparently now I have to do a ton of legwork to get my money back owed to me. Heaven forbid they fix their mistake and get the refund owed to me. Now, more of my time wasted to chase MY money owed to me because I had the misfortune of doing business with Paramus Hyundai. Awful. Buy a car ANYWHERE BUT HERE.
