Dr. Katz horrible

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

My Mother has had horrible interactions with Dr. Katz as well.

I was shocked at how he treated her as a patient and his lack of medical treatment could have killed her.

I cannot go into details because I suggested that she file a complaint with the Medical Board. Just know that you are not the only one with complaints about Dr. Katz. The Dr.

works for you, the patient. Unfortunately, many Drs.

are megalomaniacs. Be your own advocate and if something isn’t right, leave and find a good Dr.

BILLING CODING ISSUES

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I have been a patient for over 9 years with Paradise Valley Family Medicine. I made a well-visit appointment and needed a well-form signed for my foster-care license.

I was charged $155.00 for the visit to simply sign a form by a Nurse Pract. The Nurse spent more time talking about her dogs at home than she did with my visit. I called to clear the coding issue up and billing told me the codes are unable to be changed. When I asked what the diagnosis per my visit was she said it was admin doc.

They actually charge $155.00 to have a NP sign a piece of paper.

UNBELIEVABLE. No wonder people can't afford HealthCare.

Disagree

I think it's normal practice within a doctor's office not to change actual providers. I do not know why this is, but I assume there is a legal reason for it.

I've been going to Dr.

Katz now for a few months, and I've had nothing but good treatment from him and his staff there. Unfortunately, it seems I need to fill this out to 100 words, but the first 50 or so sum it up nicely. He cares about my needs, and isn't afraid to tell me the truth rather than what I want to hear.

Occasionally the phones/phone system is frustrating, but that is my only complaint. He listens and then is thoughtful in his responses.

Dr. Katz is an awesome doctor!

Both my husband and I hand-picked him when we moved to North Phoenix, after researching and interviewing other area physicians. Dr.

Katz treats you like you're his only patient. He listens. And his diagnoses/opinions are always smart, well thought out and the most economical. After 10 years of having to pay high co-pays for specialists whose only role was to renew my prescriptions, Dr.

Katz offered to do it for me -- saving me hundreds of dollars every year. He even burned off skin tags during an exam -- saving me time and money to seek out a dermatologist to do it. I can't imagine why anyone would diss Dr.

Katz -- he is a gem in the sea of frantic, aloof, and over-booked physicians. Plus, every one in his office is friendly and always answers the phone and attends to your needs -- no matter how out-of-the-box they are.

My family has been seeing Dr. Katz for a number of years and have never had anything but positive experiences.

He has an amazing disposition and cares deeply for his patients. I never feel like I am just a number. His office is immaculate and his staff is wonderful. I would imagine that any negative comments stem from lack of self awareness from the person leaving it.

I have worked in the medical field for 22 years.

There are some patients that will always find negativity....because they look for it. I will pray for those people throughout 2015 :)

Very Disappointed with Dr Anthony Katz Paradise Family Medicine Phoenix Arizona

Dr. Anthony Katz from Paradise Valley Family Medicine in Phoenix is a terrible Doctor, in my opinion.

He was very strange and I felt uncomfortable going to see him. I tried to change Doctors within his clinic, but that was not aloud. Dr. Katz said I was welcome to change clinics, but not welcome to change Doctors within his clinic...

very odd behavior... In other words, he wanted me gone. I felt 'weirded out' by this guy from day one, and every subsequent visit, I felt strange being around him.

Strange bird, I won't be seeing Dr.

Anthony Katz again. Bad attitude, bad serives

I was able to change doctors within the clinic. I am sure it's better to have one doctor get to know you well enough to be familiar with all your concerns.

That being said, I was in need of seeing a doctor and my regular one was not available. The receptionist offered an appointment with a different one. I too saw Dr. Katz and yes, he is a strange bird.

I am now seeing Dr.

Paar and I really like her. Hope this helps.

Dr. Katz is the most warm, patient, and friendly provider I have ever seen.

I have worked in hospitals and doctor's offices for over 25 years, and his service is unmatched. Often times, the disconnect between a patient and provider is that many patients come in with their care plan in their head. If the physician doesn't support the patient's plane, the patients get upset.

Hopefully you found a doctor that you like, but your judgement of Dr. Katz is just not accurate.

I cant disagree more with your assessment of Dr. Anthony Katz.

By the way Aloud is spelled Allowed. I have been seeing him for 18 years and now am 47. He is very mild and mellow nature. That is who he is.

Perhaps you may prefer an Dr. that has a massive ego and treats you like a number and does not give 2 craps about you?

He's a total POS ! He is a notorious liar and doesn't know an MRI from an XRay!

With this numb nut for 5 and a half years and said my back pain was in my head. Well Cleveland , Rush, and Washington University Ked center as well as Mayo said Katz was wrong!! Enjoy this tool box! I highly recommend reading his notes.

I had no idea the guy was writing down the info he was.

Don't be surprised by his notes and opinions of you he trashed me and my family and I loved the guy! Forget him!

I've been seeing Dr. Katz for over 13 years now, and contrary to the review above - he is WONDERFUL!

He has a sympathetic ear and is most concerned about the care and health conditions of his patients.

I enjoy going to see him - I learn something valuable every time I visit with him! Great doctor!

Guest

Dr. Katz is the kindest, most observant Doctor I have ever had.

He is knowledgable and most importantly values your time and health.

I could not recommend any professional more.

A "smear campaign" can be defined this way: "a plan to discredit a public figure by making false or dubious accusations." Be careful about the words you use and the accusations.. be careful!

My post was 100% accurate; I would go to court to defend what i said.

I stated my opinion.

As i mentioned, I feel my initial post covered what needed to be said.

I think all the Anonymous posters defending him need to let it go. This is a free country..

right? I expressed my opinion.
