I was able to change doctors within the clinic. I am sure it's better to have one doctor get to know you well enough to be familiar with all your concerns.

That being said, I was in need of seeing a doctor and my regular one was not available. The receptionist offered an appointment with a different one. I too saw Dr. Katz and yes, he is a strange bird.

I am now seeing Dr.

Paar and I really like her. Hope this helps.

Dr. Katz is the most warm, patient, and friendly provider I have ever seen.

I have worked in hospitals and doctor's offices for over 25 years, and his service is unmatched. Often times, the disconnect between a patient and provider is that many patients come in with their care plan in their head. If the physician doesn't support the patient's plane, the patients get upset.

Hopefully you found a doctor that you like, but your judgement of Dr. Katz is just not accurate.

I cant disagree more with your assessment of Dr. Anthony Katz.

By the way Aloud is spelled Allowed. I have been seeing him for 18 years and now am 47. He is very mild and mellow nature. That is who he is.

Perhaps you may prefer an Dr. that has a massive ego and treats you like a number and does not give 2 craps about you?

He's a total POS ! He is a notorious liar and doesn't know an MRI from an XRay!

With this numb nut for 5 and a half years and said my back pain was in my head. Well Cleveland , Rush, and Washington University Ked center as well as Mayo said Katz was wrong!! Enjoy this tool box! I highly recommend reading his notes.

I had no idea the guy was writing down the info he was.

Don't be surprised by his notes and opinions of you he trashed me and my family and I loved the guy! Forget him!

I've been seeing Dr. Katz for over 13 years now, and contrary to the review above - he is WONDERFUL!

He has a sympathetic ear and is most concerned about the care and health conditions of his patients.

I enjoy going to see him - I learn something valuable every time I visit with him! Great doctor!

No doctor can possibly be the perfect fit for everyone. For us, Dr.

Katz is the best. He remembers details of our lives, knows our medical history before walking into the room, and he shows great compassion. He's holistic, which is something we were looking for in a PCP. But his approach will not be right for some people, and that's life.

What we object to is that this complaint is a personal attack and this individual has gone to great lengths to post the information as broadly as possible. It's fine to say this doctor was not right for you. It is another to engage in a smear campaign, and that's what this appears to be. Dr.

Katz is a fine physician with an outstanding reputation. He has a very large and loyal patient following, and there is a reason for that. If he isn't the doctor for you, find another.

But let go of the vendetta and accept that it's nothing personal. Life happens.

I am entitled to share my experience. The child-like responses are very 'telling', and in my opinion, are designed to discredit my initial post.

Let me restate my position:

I had a dreadful experience with Dr.Anthony Katz from Paradise Valley Family Medicine in Phoenix.

I stand by my original post (from 2.5 years ago).

I could get more detailed about my experience, but for now, I choose to refrain from adding anything else to my initial pissed consumer post -from Apr 10, 2013.

From the language you use and the way you describe your so called experience, you sound like the weird one. I pity the next doctor you visit. Maybe it should be a psychiatrist.

Please people read other reviews on Dr. katz.

My family have been patients of Dr. Katz for 30 or 40 years.

I am 78 years old. Dr Katz and his office staff have always been outstanding in getting us in to see him in tough times, short notice, etc. They are polite, and very knowledgeable regarding the paper work and most importantly, they know their medicine.

You will never see me or my family bad-mouthing him or his office staff. John M

My wife and I have been seeing Dr Katz for years. We think he is great! He's very caring and his diagnosis are spot on.

I have been a patient of Dr Katz for almost 15 years. He is very compassionate and understanding.

He really does care about his patients. I went in to see him for a physical ailment and he could tell that it was stress related even though I had no idea!

I highly recommend Dr Katz! Moreover, I have 3 other friends that see Dr Katz and they love him as well.

Dr. Katz has been our family physician for 5 years. As a health care professional, I have pleased pleased with his services and professionalism.

I have been going to Dr Anthony Katz as my primary physician for over 10 years now and I think that this person must be a strange bird themselves. Dr Katz is always prompt (from time of appointment to time when the Dr is in the room after the nurse her check-in is 10-15 minutes at most).

Dr Katz always takes the time to find out what else is going on in your life that might effect your health like other stresses, what kind of exercise you do, and your diet. Dr Katz always has time for questions and I never feel rushed.

My father recommended me to Dr Katz and I've recommended friends who have gone to him and everyone I know likes Dr Katz and never had any issues. I would highly recommend Dr Katz to anyone looking for a primary care physician that is concerned about their health and believes this is impacted by a healthy lifestyle.

I will be seeing Dr. Katz tomorrow for the first time, so I have no opinion of him for now, other than I researched him carefully as this is the ONLY negative comment I have seen.

I think I can explain the "not allowed to change doctors/offices" -- I've had that experience too in other offices.

Once in my primary care office, they did allow me to change doctors, but I know it was a huge recordkeeping hassle.

And I've been denied the chance to see the same doctor in a different office for that exact reason. So it may not be the doctor himself.
