Paradise Point in SD will not honor membership
About a year ago, there was this telemarketer who was calling people to buy this membership with Paradise Point for under $200. We received our membership and he said it was good through 06/30/2011 as long as there is availability.
I went online to check the availability and I saw that there are 8 rooms available so I called. It took about half an hour before a live person came on to talk to me about reservation. Then, she says they are not accepting any more reservation for this Islander Club that they sold to us. She said that a lot of people waited till the last minute to reserve and this morning, she received word that they will no longer honor this offering.
I said "So, that's it? We're just out that money?". She said "Yes". This is the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered.
Paradise Point in San Diego, CA will not honor their club membership that they themselves solicited. I want to let the whole world know about this and to warn people to be careful of this type of solicitation.
