I had purchased two Groupons, one for me and one for a friend. We had appts.
for 12pm on a Sunday and arrived at the Salon at 12:02pm to find it was closed, even though the hours on the door stated open Sunday 10am–5pm. Right then I had a bad feeling about this place. We waited a few minutes until an employee showed up behind us who I thought was going to let us in. She stated she was here about 15 min.
before and the manager had not arrived yet. At 12:10pm the door opened and not a word was spoken to us, no apology or even a greeting – Strike 1. Once inside I handed over the Groupons and was told to pick a polish. Then an employee came out and said we were not entitled to a polish since we only paid for a foot treatment and not a pedicure.
I was disappointed but agreed to pay the extra $13.00 for each of us to have our toes polished. My friend and I were then escorted to the back to sit in fake leather chairs and put our feet into Rubbermaid basins full of hot water - not classy. I thought that since the name of the shop was Paradise At Your Feet they would have had professional Pedicure chairs – Strike 2. My friend and I then started talking to each other about how this was not being managed properly and that the amenities were less then desirable.
The Manager or Owner, not sure who she was, then came around the corner and started to mouth off at us because she was unhappy we were “telling it like it is”. We told her this was not a way to treat potential new clients and then she ordered us to leave – LOL. After we left we have a lovely lunch and checked reviews of this place. Boy was I glad we left!
The reviews were awful and scary. I am so glad we didn’t get anything done there and then find out later we contracted a fungus. I promptly contacted Groupon and told them about our experience at this establishment and they were happy to refund my full amount.
My take-away from this experience is to always READ REVIEWS before purchasing online coupons or even making appointments before visiting a new business. Shame on me for not doing this.
Not worth the Groupon savings
Absolutely HORRIBLE service. I went here because I purchased a Groupon but I'd rather pay full price at a different place than ever go back here!
Customer service is non-existent; they blame the customer for their scheduling error and price conflicts. Worse is that the nail technicians have no knowledge on what to do! It was obvious that the polish needed to be thinned out or just get another bottle, but instead they slapped on thick, goopey polish. They didn't even know how to do a French pedicure!
It would not surprise me if the nail techs are not legal!
Don't waste your time. What was supposed to be a relaxing experience was anything but.

Terrible experience! They are so rude and the place does NOT look like a Spa/Nail place.
It was dirty with hair on the floor of the scattered waiting room and staff looked like they didn't know which business they're in. Not professional at all and I will not go back there or let any of my friends go there.
Looks like someones dirty bathroom posing as a Pedicure spa. They made me wait and wait only to be told that they couldn't take me and that I should go back another day, but after seeing the dirty place, I will not return.

Horrible experience!!! i had a mani pedi appointment .. when i reacehed there the owner Jeanine Summer was rude she said its only for pedicure ,but then a lady asked her can she get manicure she said yes..It was upsetting ..Since i had a groupon voucher i asked her wht pedicure will i get she got irrated and then she tells me to leave...i the voucher had described for ultimate pedicure worth 60 usd and the owner claims its only for basic..she seemed racist...This was for my daughter who had a special evening we had made appointment almost a month back ..the owner not only screwed up her evening but aso threatened us to call the cops...WHo would like to go a place like this....
If you want to get insulted go there!!!!
highly recommend all of you to stand up against these fraud type business where they advertise with groupon ,living social and double take deals about all these fascinating deals... and then when they r over sold or make their target ..they harrass general pubic...

Now they are called angela michelle day spa. I called and supposedly they ran out of business but I honestly feel like they might have had customer issues and changed their name. They remain to have the same "specialties", workers, hours and phone number!
