Blown engine

Message: *

I have a 2012 Kia Optima. I am the third owner of it.

There are 176,000 miles on it. Besides the mileage, the vehicle is in mint condition in and out. It has been taken very well care of by all three owners. As I am the third owner, I am literally crying while sending this email.

Since having my vehicle for two years, there have already been two recalls in the two years I have owned it. Of course, the second recall was for the engine. I was told by a couple of mechanics that Honda and Kia are doing recalls for engines. I brought mine to the Kia dealership last year, and they put a little chip on it.

I don't know what to do. I love this car, and if I have to, I will seek legal help.

Preferred solution: New engine
