- - Materials arrived early, left outside and warped.
- - Cement work was subpar; concrete poured in rain; project halted over damaged materials.
We hired Palmetto Renovations (Matthew Graham) in January 2025 to build a deck, fence, cement work, and an ADA-accessible ramp for our son. Materials were delivered months early and left outside, becoming warped and discolored.
The cement work didnt meet expectations, and work stopped when we wouldnt agree to accept the damaged materials used to build the fence and deck.
Subcontractors often showed up without notice or with little notice, and the general contractor never came to the site at all. Concrete was poured during rain, and parts of the job were never finished.
We couldnt use our backyard all summer due to the pallets of wood Palmetto Renovations dropped off on May 7th until the project commenced in late July.
The external deck ramp is still unsafe for my son to use. Im sharing this so others can ask careful questions about supervision, materials, warranties, pricing and scheduling should you choose to hire this company.
