This company is unprofessional! I had to leave one star yet they deserve a minus 1 star.
First, I did not get what I asked for. I wanted a 2-ton unit and got a 2 1/2 ton. When I questioned it they blew it off like it was a good mistake. Next, they do not come when they say they will, they don't inform you of when the inspector is coming and then the receptionist, Joanne calls and leaves a nasty message (saved in my voicemail) about having an inspector standing outside my door and I am to be charged a fee because I was not at home for an appointment that I never knew about!
I found out that they are responsible because they pulled the permit! I am a working person who does not have a flexible schedule but is very conscientious. Finally, the receptionist asked me to send them an email stating that I would be home October 25th all day for the inspector and I complied with her request. Guess what?
They never made the appointment with The City of Palm Bay Building Permits. Joanne was angry and said they Could make mistakes! Now they want me to take another day from work and wait for the building inspector who does not provide even a marginal time frame. I complied and rescheduled.
I am a professional who does not have the option to take time off from work. I DO NOT recommend this company. UPDATE: They did it again. Joanne said she would schedule an appointment for 10/30/23 and never did.
I called Palm Bay Building and was informed that NO appointment was scheduled for that date. This makes two days that I had to take from work. The permit expires on February 2nd, 2024. So I now sent an email stating that I will be available February 1st, 2024.
If no appointment is made, Palm Bay Air and Heat will be responsible for the fine. I have never encountered anything like this from any business.

Horrible company-DO NOT USE THEM!!!
We bought an a/c unit from them a couple years ago because of the low price. You get what you pay for I guess.
Every year in the summertime it breaks down on us. June 26, 2023 in the morning our a/c was blowing warm air so we called PB Air & Heat to come out and take a look at what the problem was. They said they didn't have any tech people to come out until late in the afternoon for the $39 service call price. However, they did have a tech person available for $99 and he could come out right away.
REALLY?!!!
Scammers! Now, keep in mind they still advertise on their work vans that a service call is $19 free with repair. FALSE ADVERTISING.
We needed to get it fixed so we had to pay the $99. Techs came out and said they needed to replace a part they'll get it ordered the same day and probably come back same night.
They didn't come back and no one called us. So we called next day and found out that nobody even ordered the part yet! They said they would order it and let us know when they have it. Days went by and no word from anyone.
Poor customer service. We had to call them but the part oddly enough still wasn't in yet...or so they said. We called York distribution company they order their parts from and York said the part for our address had been sitting there all week and they were wondering why PB Air & Heat hasn't picked it up yet since they don't deliver. PB Air & Heat told me they have people physically go into York everyday to check.
Apparently not. Couple days later I went to PB Air & Heat to ask about the part again and they made me wait outside in the heat while they checked because customers aren't allowed inside the building. We called July 11, 2023 and sat on hold for 5 minutes, still no part. One month goes by and it is July 24, 2023 & a girl in their office called us to say a tech was on his way out to our house to bypass they system.
So that means that they knew they could have bypassed the system a month ago and given us a/c until they replaced the part, instead of letting their customers swelter in unforgiving, triple digit heat. They should have at least tried to put a rush on the order or something. Am sure parts don't take a month to come in.
Luckily we had friend bypass the system before they called and the girl on phone said ok and hung up on me before I could ask about the part. I called right back and they said oh yes we have it now.
Really?
The woman who hung up on me couldn't have had the decency to tell me that a second ago???
Unbelievable. I understand now why they have so many 1 & 2 star reviews!
Appalling customer service
Palm Bay air was sent out to my residence to check my AC unit which was not cooling. They can out 4 times for the same issue that is still not resolved from 31 May to 14 Jun 2016.
Two technician can out last night(13 June 2016) between 2130-****, at the time it was cooler outside so the thermostat which was set on 73 degrees was reading 79 degrees. Earlier it was 86 degrees inside even though it was set on 73...I was told another technician would be out today(14 June 2016) between 12-2pm during the hottest time. I went into the office this morning to verify and also speak to a supervisor but was disrespected by Craig (office manager) who stated that "If I don't want to wait, that's my *** problem and he doesn't give a ***".. I told them that that was very disrespectful and their customer service was poor and that this would be reported.
I also asked my home service warranty (Choice Home warranty) not to send anyone from that office to my residence. A supervisor at Choice home warranty took my complaint but I'm still waiting on my ac unit to be repaired..
